  • Good to know! I just bought a Honda same year and the same problem. Gonna try to fix it tomorrow : )

  • LOLOLOLOL

  • If you take apart the computer box under the pass seat you can remove the buzzer (forever, so be sure)

  • Thanks :) I couldn't locate the damn B pillar hole! Now I know

  • Thanks buddy. I was going to try to force my seat belt back into locked position, but glad you demonstrated that it can be done without breaking it.

I think it sucks that Honda won't fix the electronic problems. I had my transmission EC computer replaced this year, now this.

Thanks for making and posting the video. It's the only work around for the problem I can find in the Google search.

  • I hope u all find this helpful. Despite what others have said on the internet, Honda is not responsible to replace the computer module. All the Honda dealers i've dealt with said Honda liability ends with the seat belt and the retractor itself, not the computer module.

  • The beeping is controlled by the black CM (computer module) located under the front passenger seat. Unscrew the 2 bolts at the front of the box, then lift off the black plastic cover. Now push the seat all the way forward, look down on the floor of the passenger seat and u can now see the 2 wire connectors (a brown and a green). I disabled mine by unplugging both connectors.

  • will that stop the beeping noise as well (the one marked when seatbelt is not up)
