  • what did they do on the hip?

  • @tschuju Usually they take a bone marrow sample from the hip.

  • @tschuju Probably more chemo. The hip is an easy bone marrow access. She probably had cancer cells present in the CSF and bone marrow, so they had to use chemo in the spinal column and the bone marrow.

  • @jesscukable I actually didn't get it yet! The hospital post-poned it.. Again! I'm so anxious to get it done and overwith. Thank you so much for the best wishes:)

  • I have to get a lumbar puncture this week D: it'll be my first one and I'm 17. Your daughter did so well during the procedure! What a strong girl you have there, she didn't even put up a fight. I hope she's better -3

  • @rovieleeh The prevalence of a serious bacterial infection in a febrile infant younger than 3 months is approximately 6-10%, with a 1-2% incidence of bacteremia, meningitis, or both.... i guess it all depends on how much you like to gamble....hope he is doing well....

  • @JaviVilar his test in blood urine and H1N1 are negative, its now his 6th day in the hospital, and the doctor didnt find the reason why he got fever for 2 days bacause we refused the LP... now, we are all clulelessif he got meningitis... so the doctor decided to finish his antibiotic for ten days...
