  • Another example of war to support Wall Street is the Afghan war. I worked for ENRON who met with the TALIBAN in Houston in 1997. When the Taliban rejected their offer to build a pipeline from the Caspian Sea to the Indian Subcontinent, the ENRON BOD began discussing regime change. They had to get "their guy" in the White House to make it happen. Enron and it's executives were the #1 supporters of BUSH in 2000 and BUSH did start the war in Afghanistn in reward.

  • _Why We Fight_ is great documentary about this same topic. Americans have very little understanding of the real machinations of war, and who benefits from it....

  • @ModernPlague Thanks I'll check it out

  • And the racket keeps on going as long as we keep allowing the criminal, fascist, corporate-controlled two-party system to run the country. There is really only one party in the U.S: the Corporate War Party.

  • @73849309378 agreed. this same elitist party (1984 Orwell calls 'Big Brother") is gaining in strength and power & control becuz nobody does anything about it becuz they don't see it.

"Evil flourishes when good men do nothing."

"One voice can make a difference. A million can change the world."

  • & = and...not 'or'. I get the point, man. Pretty self explanatory.

Glad to see you fixed it in your info box though.

  • Dude, read your info box. It says he served in WW 1& 2...or do I have to quote your info box?....

"War is simply a racket. 2 time congressional medal of honor winner retired Major General Smedley D. Butler writes about this massive global war racket after serving in WW1 & WW2."

  • WW1 or WW2... have you missed the point... war begets war...violence begets violence... war is a racket, beit war 1, war 2 or war 3, endless war on terrorism.. it's stil the same racket.. blood for oil.. imperialism... tyranny... power... control...

  • Smedley Butler did not serve in WW2.

  • never said that he served in WW2, but these are direct quotes from his book..
