true but my sprockets front & rear are stock and with stock air pressure (42psi) in the tires, 3rd gear needs clutch with power to lift the nose up all the way

do stand up, just bounce it and it WILL pick up in 3rd.

i dropped 1 tooth in the front on mine and i can do 4th gears.

@BikeMasterBahrain I have the same issue. only gas in first gear, then its clutch for the rest. I think its due to all the power being on the top end. I rode my friends 04 gixxer 1000, and 05, and all the power is down low. You can power wheelie all day on those. But if its all about speed and accelaration, the Kawasaki, destroys them all.

@Enxo04 I think you have it backwards. Power wheelies are better on bikes with less power. When dealing with the power band of a 1 liter, shit can get hairy pretty quickly. Much more comfortablt to just clutch it up at 6k rpm.

The Zx10 is too lite to wheelie..4th gear it can go up with no worries..but ur speed has to be a bit higher..what happens is..when u wheelie it in 4th @ a speed..as soon as it goes up..it slows down.

Or u can just take a short cut and just wheelie in 2nd and shift.

The Zx6 is a nice bike to wheelie..but bcoz im so used to the 1000cc bikes..i can only do 2nd gear..

@BikeMasterBahrain Do like I do and ride at night, like midnight or later. Less traffic, you see their lights coming too.. People say its really stupid to ride at night but I look for the headlights, its easier to see people that way. Now if their riding in complete dark w/ no headlights im fucked, but most people cant see w/o lights haha.

Im sure it gets hot there, like 110 in the day but it wont be any higher than like 90 at night... thats not too bad when the sweat in your helmet hits air!

I'm stationed here. During Ramadan it gets as hot as 130 during the day, and about 90-110 @ night.

But the riding on the outskirts of Al Manama is awesome

Yeah i do agree with u Pitguru66 it is Under-rated this bike pulls hard,,real hard even with the damper 3rd gear if u open it up the bars shake with stock gearings i can wheelie upto 4th gear easily. its a beast..the best on yet from kawa.

The Gixxer is a different ball game altogether

Hey man..

I got mine from 58cycle it the full system Yoshimura with titanium R77 muffler without cat.

Plus the secondary throttle valves have been removed..u may hear a grunt from doing that in the exhaust which makes it sweeter

I just put the Yosh R77 Carbon can system on my '08 ZX10 along with the Bazzaz computer. I welded in an O2 sensor bung for the Bazzaz closed loop kit.

Perfect fueling and sound.

Also Ohlins Forks and Shock, and had the damper revalved at Kyle racing....Huge improvement.
