We are in 2010...why do we still have circuses? These poor animals are treated so poorly and forced to perform night after night. They stick bull hooks into their skin and shock them. Animals do not belong in the circus for our entertainment...step right up to the cruelest show on earth!

I remember loving the circus when I was younger, since I was and still am an animal lover. One time at the circus when the tigers were coming out, I asked my father how could they moved around in the tiny cages. He said he didn't know.

When I got older, I did a little research and found out about the terrible acts circuses do to animals. I am proud to say that after that, I have never entered a circus that uses animals.

And I am in no way a strong supporter of PETA, but if you want to see what other animal cruelty needs to be stopped as well, then watch some of their videos. They may be hard to watch, but I think it's worth it. There are a few on my favorites list if you don't mind blood. They did make me cry though.

I never will and never have been to a circus, i will occasionally go and protest outside. I just cant believe that some parents are so blinded by the "glamour" and wont realize that its animal abuse, its not normal and its not ok. If the young children knew or comprehended the extend of the "training" these animals go through i gurantee they wouldnt want any part of it. The circus targets children who are too young to know any better and to parents who dont care enough to stop the cruelty.

Basically, like I said, those people are paid, and they are cheating gullible parents into paying for a show that sees these tortured animals. Their method of training is to "break" the animals by beating them. I am aware that you do not do it for money, and I agree it is fun. Most importantly, you do not "break" them.
