Evola can be frustrating. He developed some fascinating ideas about the nature of history and nature of civilization and race, but then he would sometimes fall into promoting ideas/things that he was critical of. And although his understanding of metaphysics was good, it wasn't great. I am not one of those Evola maniacs, but he was right on many things, and he wrote an excellent book on early Buddhism.
Well I read Yoga of Power and Eros of the Mysteries of Love some time ago but didn't find them at all useful... I just don't go for it myself, and I'm not too keen on Buddhism, all the major world religions are pretty much as bad as patriotism and to use an old slogan 'they stink up the planet'....

As for Buddhism, it really started out as an austere ascetic discipline, without the coating of relgion, though a relgion eventually developed around it.
Check Divine Horsemen for some amazing voodoo footage, and there are many other good films... Maya Deren who shot that also wrote a very interesting book with the same title. But my direct experiences are not with voodoo but related Candomblé, went to a very amazing ceremony for Oxum while in Brazil in 2004.
I understand how you and others find his association with said political movements abhorrent, and I would agree, but he did have many admirable character traits. Notibably his stoic-like attitude to dealing with the injuries and constant pain he suffered for the rest of his life from a bomb attack. I think Evola's influence on Mussolini and the other fascists has been overplayed, and thats not excusing his involvement with the movement. I don't know if he was close to any of the decision makers in fascist Italy, but I was never that interested in his political years. I'm just interested in his works on metaphysics and spirituality.

Evola never joined the facist party, as he saw it as yet another ideological spin off from the proletariat French revolution. Evola renounced "occultic" practices earlier in his life. Evola can be frustrating. He developed some fascinating ideas about the nature of history and nature of civilization and race, but then he would sometimes fall into promoting ideas/things that he was critical of. And although his understanding of metaphysics was good, it wasn't great. I am not one of those Evola maniacs, but he was right on many things, and he wrote an excellent book on early Buddhism.

As for Buddhism, it really started out as an austere ascetic discipline, without the coating of relgion, though a relgion eventually developed around it.

I understand how you and others find his association with said political movements abhorrent, and I would agree, but he did have many admirable character traits. Notibably his stoic-like attitude to dealing with the injuries and constant pain he suffered for the rest of his life from a bomb attack. So although I disagree that he was scum, he did make a serious error in judgement in getting involved with those political movements (though he later recognized this).

Thats one way of looking at it, yes. Another way of looking at is it was a case of testing his inner strength in a dangerous environment. As for the terrorist activity, terrorists have been influenced by all sorts of different thinkers from Evola to Karl Marx.

I think Evola's influence on Mussolini and the other fascists has been overplayed, and thats not excusing his involvement with the movement. I don't know if he was close to any of the decision makers in fascist Italy, but I was never that interested in his political years. I'm just interested in his works on metaphysics and spirituality.

I agree his influence on Mussolini and especially on the SS and with the NSDAP is completely overplayed, although Mussolini liked his notions of pagan imperialism as a specifically Roman/Italian racism (obviously more appealing to Il Duce than Nazi 'Nordic' orientated racism), but Evola's real influence comes much later, from the 1960s onwards when he becomes a (probably the) key ideologist of post-war fascism (eventually overtaking Savitri Devi, who of course had a more immediate impact).

There is no scientific way of differentiating between races. So while race is not real, it is experienced as real because of racism. Watch out with Evola, a lot of those involved in promoting and publishing him are fascists but many like to cover this up. I don't go for Guenon at all, but if you really won't get off the path you're on then stick with him but drop Evola (or you'll get covered in nasty shit). Evola boosters like Michael Mognihan are fascist cretins.

As for what path I'm on, I suppose you are are referring to traditionalism. I don't know I would say I am totally a traditionalist. The basis of it is that the the world's religions are different manifestations of the same transcendent truth. I don't know if there is a transcendent dimension of reality (beyond the human plane), so I am still a bit of an agnostic, if that makes sense.

Evola never joined the facist party, as he saw it as yet another ideological spin off from the proletariat French revolution. Evola renounced "occultic" practices earlier in his life. Evola didn't consider himself a "facist" for the reasons given. The views you hold on Evola only exist in your own imagination

When you say a female 'cums' does this refer to large amounts of fluid being discharged from the vagina, or fluid being expelled from the urethra?
What is the terminology used for each of these?

oh there is much more footage of the fetish sisters too, not used here... who knows maybe I'll be tempted to do something else with that some other time.... we actually shot three and a half hours of material which we edited into this, so there was a lot we didn't use...

nice1 i remember the ska nights at the tory club - i always thought it was the 'royal 7stars' though, which was aligned with totnes masonic hall. i remember evol telleing me there he took the name after totnes council put a reward up for the capture of her alter-ego 'zero' (which they misread as 'zoro') after he had graffed up the 7stars - fittingly us girls would then misread 'evol' as 'eva' which would wind him up no end!
