  • WTF or NO TF...

  • AGUANTA TAEKWON-DO ITF A FULL !!!!!!!!!!

  • 0.41 till 0.46 who izz that!

  • I think you need to upgrade the potato you edited this video with.

  • god those punches are horrible. But those kicks are truly amazing

  • @OneTekk

ITF only allows straight punches and fighting in ITF isn't full contact. Thus, you see a lot of bad arm punches. Shitty rules, meh.

  • Shitty video.

  • BEST SPORT! TAEKWONDO ITF!

  • The music is extremely shitty...

  • I quit ITF. Started WTF.

  • @GamingPro2 What why that's going backwards..?WTF is softer.

  • @GamingPro2 you suck, ITF is the way to go!

  • People can diss tkd, but the best of the best have amazing kicks and speed. Thing is you don't get good enough to be a good all round fighter in tkd, unless you have the capability of being one in the first place, so pretty much everyone sucks (80% of people in tkd are kids and lazy out of shape guys). You don't see that in other martial arts they wouldn't last. I'm not bias against tkd I have a bb but only the best 8-10% are half decent fighters and it's just true.

  • the best sport is tkd :D

  • that guy at 0:24 name?????????

  • @GreekPowerFish That's Hwang Su Il

  • 1 song name?

  • Best kicking art on the planet ! :)

  • 18 people is practice WTF !

  • @Pulcherutza fuck you bitch wtf and itf are both good you idiot kid..one thumbs up? stop thubs up your own comments idiot

  • @Pulcherutza or another martial art -.-

  • Very nive video!

  • its such a beutiful sport!

  • ITF is joke compard to WTF......

  • @kakarote2010 so you think wtf is better than ITF? where do you think wtf came from?

  • @kakarote2010 you are the joke! cuz u talk but can u walk...?

  • @kakarote2010 Such a ridiculous thing to say. Not even going to try and justify that statement?

  • much better than WTF.

  • What is the meaning of all these antics, explain the boxer

  • ТКД это динамика красота и настоящий бой. НО все зависит зависит от бойца.

  • 0:25 who is this guy??????

  • я уважаю все виды спорта но не люблю когда не дооценивают тайквондо ставлю палец вверх

  • These guys are awesome! And remember, this is just ITF Taekwon-Do SPARRING-- they fight even better in actual combat. TKD is the only martial art proven effective in battle (not in a legend, but actually documented!) In Taekwon-Do ITF sparring you cannot trip/sweep/throw, kick below the belt or the back, or bit or scratch and such. Taekwon-Do fighters train in much more than just kicking and punching for actual self-defense!

  • @amydearmas lad, nobody fights in actual combat and havent for hundreds of years and even then they used weapons.Tkd practitioners(they arent fighters) never do any realistic self defense training ifthey are part of either the 2 world bodies.I was very involved in the ITF for 17 yrs,I know this and have seen it in europe ,usa and asia. Its a weak art for combat.

  • @scarred10 it isnt the martial art itself that gives you the skill its the user as well. look for fault in thyself instead of blaming tkd but your right about one thing tkd is more of a sport i guess but you can use it in combat look at raymond daniels for instance he uses tkd and shines in the world "COMBAT" league

  • @driftzers29 i was selected for the national team several times and got As in every grade up to black belt, the fault is in the training method in tkds case because they spend the vast majority of time on things unrelated to combat, dont incorporate boxing techs and tactics, dont spar full contact, favour legs over the far more effective hands, dont wrestle ,dont do ground fighting,no clinch etc.Daniels hasnt done traditional tkd in maybe a decade,he spends all his time sparring and is a natural.

  • @scarred10 the training methods are different for different masters for example my friend was in the finals of a WTF tournament against some guy whos master trained only one pupil, he kicked trees. when my friend faced him he was knocked down quickly in the first round. sometimes it isnt even necessary to bring it to a ground fight once the oppenent is knocked down a finishing strike is all thats left

  • @driftzers29 as for boxing techs and tactics yes the tae kwon do style has to improve on footwork similar to boxers like pacquiao maybe the art of taekwondo will improve and new techniques will be added but only yourself can create those new techniques its not like the mighty bruce lee learned jeet-kun do by just copying the previous forms created by others

  • so funny reading so may different opinions on TKD. The art is the same, the rules are different, WTF is an olympic sport, ITF no. Both are part of the TKD, which in its original version, is a warfield combat, adopted from the South Korean Army, which is much more complete, but obviously it is not a sport but a deadly art, like krav maga for example. Obviously if you want to make it a sport you can't use deadly techniques.

  • WTF taekwondo is a sport.

ITF taekwondo is a true art

  • Gotta say I like this a lot better than the Olympic foot tag variety.

  • WTF es deporte ITF es el verdadero Tae kwon do arte marcial

  • WTF is better

  • @fedex715 of course not

  • Aguante el WTF

  • whats the tittle of the music in this video?

  • @GenjzMaster "Returns A King" by Tyler Bates

  • kicks were sick put some pretty girly punches were thrown throught the entire video

  • WTF TKD (I use to traslate it as What the F*** you call that TKD?) is ruining the sport, ITF is so technical and takes years to master, for WTF you just need to learn a roundhouse kick and you're ready.

The style has weakenesses? mmmm every style has it... If you want to be the best you have to mix it up a little no matter which martial art you learn.

  • @dexter2811 really? u are really criticizing wtf taekwondo because it just like What The F***, really? the only big difference between ITF and WTF is the punches to the face, I didn't saw one not gay punch there, I think taekwondo its meant to be a kicking focused sport and if your good at something, why not sharpen it? and about the protections WTF uses, believe me, it hurts the same, and by same i mean allot!

  • @giniman97 Nope, I'm critizicing WTF because they took the "art" out of this beautiful martial art... WTF it's a sport and "battles" or "fights" last no more than a blink of an eye... We used to use protection to sparring when I did ITF and I know how it hurts... but, as I told before... ITF takes years to master... you can be a "ready-to-tournament" WTF fighter in less than 2 years. WTF is turning a martial art into a sport, (IMHO) and I don´t like it...

  • I used to train in ITF Taekwon-do and Im the first to admit that the style has weaknesses but you can get rid of 'em by just mixing it up a little I still believe that tkd has the best all around kicks when it comes to speed and movement in general. Tkd as a style is one of the oG's if ya really wanna learn good kicking technics tkd is the way to go. You start with it and mix it up with some boxing and kickboxing and you'll become a fairly good all around figther it's really just up to you .

  • I liked Taekwondo until I watched it in the Olympics. What a shitty sport

  • @RedTailedTuna What you saw was WTF (World Taekwondo Federation) taekwondo... This is ITF (Internation Taekwondo Federation). If you actually watched the video, you would have seen that they are very different.

  • Tomaz Barada is the best!

  • taekwon-do ITF is my second favourite sport right after floorball and taekwon-do ITF is my favourite fighting sport

  • @FifthAce7

TKD ITF is not a sport

meaby u mistaken it with WTF

  • @sahiel5 oh, but y have I then a match coming, and when I getted a paper at the same time i getted my belt, so y were there writed whit big letters ITF

  • @sahiel5 ITF is a taekwondo federation. WTF is a taekwondo federation, both sports with different rules. Now please shut up, both learn taekwondo.

  • @moussleouf if u saying taht ITF is a sport then its all i need to know about your lack of knowlage u dont now either the history of it(created by a soidier, adopted by china and korea army cuz it was best), or u are train just for sport and that means your trainer is pussy and in real fight in dark street surrounded by 3 guys u be dead just like WTF noobs

watch this movie agein and think "would thous fighters be as dead as me?"

I think not cuz they train martialart not sport

  • @FifthAce7 It's not a fighting sport. Olympic Taekwon-do is a fighting sport. Teher are different kinds of Taekwondo.

    1. Self Defense Taekwondo. (Used for the streets).

    2. Tricks Taekwondo (For Show).

    3. Traditional Taekwondo (Best Style Of Taekwondo).

    4. Olympic Taekwondo (Best for only fighting another Taekwondo fighter. Also what you were talking about).

And there is also no best art. But best fighter.

  • @ymk19 but in that TKD ITF were I am, so there are all of those

  • @ymk19 there is no self defense tkd,no tricks tkd(some of its kicks are used in tricking) tkd contains self defense techs (they are useless),sport sparring, patterns and breaking. It is all the same art.WTF and ITF are the main types which vary in their sparring rules and patterns but they both contain the elements listed above.

  • @scarred10 I meant both ITF and WTF Contain Self Defense and Tricks,Olympic,Traditional and the following styles what i've said earlier. you don't seem to get me don't you? It's all about the fighter, not the art. You haven't studied any Taekwondo Haven't you? Or you atleast haven't gotten your black belt? Hmph, don't underestimate Martial Arts by Olympics and Youtube Videos meh boy. Judge Taekwondo by FIGHTING a Taekwondo Fighter. So get in the ring.

  • @ymk19 tkd is never done in a ring.i was a black belt at 15 yrs old and continued training for 13 yrs fter that, then switched to muay thai and western boxing and more recently wrestling due to injuries.ANYONE WHO THINKS ITS THE FIGHTER NOT THE ART DOESNT UNDERSTAND TRAINING METHODS.its a popular misconception

  • @scarred10 Well, each and everyone has a point of view and opinion. Can't argue with that. But TKD, HAS been done in the ring.

Take a look at Cung Le.

    Anderson Silva

    Dan Hardy

    And much much more!

  • @FifthAce7 Exept ITF Taekwon-Do is a Martial Art.

  • @FifthAce7

    Tae Kwon-Do isn't a sport is a martial art.

  • @FifthAce7 ITF is not a sports. its a martial arts competition. WTF is sports.

  • my hobby is taekwon-do itf and a little child who is in karate said to me that taekwon-do is bad because they use helmets, well I don't think a little child would take kicks in head, so if he just would know a little more of taekwon-do, he might change his mind

  • @FifthAce7 ITF Taekwon-Do practitioners don't even use helmets all the time- most world ITF tournaments actually ban helmets for those 17+.

  • I THINK THE TAEKWONDO IS VERY BEAUTI MARTIAL ARTS

  • quien es ese de cabello largo que aparece varias veces, de donde es?.. who is that guy with the pony tail that apears so many times? where is he from?

  • Taekwondo will mess people up .. if the fighter is very good like these guys. each one of those kicks hurts

  • I like both WTF and ITF but i hate these "shoes" in ITF ^^

  • @Martialartistx100

dude i completely agree they are suoer annoying........they re like 1 kilo each ^_^

  • I don't get why people talk badly about Tae kwon do. It is a good style to know like other fighting styles. Every style has strengths and weaknesses. Its not the style that is bad its the practitioner that has bad habits in the style.

  • @Kiryu2011 because taekwondo fighters have not enaugh skill with their hands and its too easy to counter their kicks. :)

  • @pufferitis too easy? A lot of good MMA fighters have a taekwon do back grounds( cung le and anderson silva for example). I agree that they need more skills with their hands, but they do have very good kicks

  • @pufferitis Not entirely true, Yes it has not as many hand techniques, but if you fight someone who truly knows the style you won't be able to counter every single kick. Also look at boxing, its a fighting style with no kicking, elbowing, kneeing, or ground techniques and its affective in a fight. So why not use Tae kwon do?

  • @Kiryu2011 agree

  • @DiamondCatTKW Thank you.

  • @Kiryu2011 People talk badly about WTF because it is bad...

  • @chrisgeorgegray And how exactly is it bad?

  • @Kiryu2011 The quality of the sparring is awful and unrealistic, the techniques that have been changed from ITF are flawed, its just a cheap knock of of General Choi's TRUE ITF TaeKwon-Do.

  • @chrisgeorgegray That's because it's not the true martial art. ITF/Olympic tae kwon do is for show. True Tae kwon do utilizes much more than just kicks. You do punches, knees, elbows, and ground training in true tae kwon do. In ITF/Olympic tae kwon do that just show off the kicks. When a style is in the Olympics they take out alot of the techniques for safety reasons(excluding boxing and greco roman wrestling) so it gives the true art a bad reputation.

  • @Kiryu2011 ITF isn't olympic TKD... WTF is Olympic TKD. ITF do the techniques you have mentioned, 1. because it is the Original TaeKwon-Do, 2. Because it was made my a serving officer who studies various martial arts and combined them together to form a martial art in which he felt was suitable for the field.

  • @chrisgeorgegray If what you say is true how do it suck then?

  • @Kiryu2011 you don(t serve of yours punch and fight with an armor lol!

  • taekwondo itf is nice, i am world taekwondo federation practitioner

  • Comment removed

  • and the thing about the guard is that we do learn blocking alot but i dont know why but the guys that are in K-1 dont really put their guards up.. and also there are few people that mix boxing and TKD it has the kicks from TKD and punches from boxing which would make it like kick boxing but TKDs kicks have a unique style so yeah... thats what i wanted to say=D

  • i'll put it out here first I'm a korean who has learned both IMF TKD and WTF TKD so guys ummm firstly ITF is a style of TKD developed from NK which is very agressive...in SK now most TKD is only used for self defence and its become more of a soft(?) sport than Muay Thai and also the thing is with Muay Thai is that they have moves that includes using elbows and knees which means that in a no rule fight Muay Thai is going to be stronger

  • You know it's a good vid when it's starring asains..

  • @SolacePiano "Asains" ...umm English please. I heard of Asians but not Asains

  • ohne rüstung ist ja sowieso geil und schläge gegen den kopf sind auch gar nicht verboten nein ...

  • Muay thai is better..

  • @MuSiCiAnMaTtHeW I would kick your ass

  • @m3a12as4 you could try.

  • Comment removed

  • @MuSiCiAnMaTtHeW No, we use exactly the same attacks as in Muay Thai, but not in sparring.

We use elbows, knees, and all of that. We got more rules in the sparring too, than in the Muay Thai's rule system. Always remember also that TKD have different styles....

  • @Dimbyyyyy TKD is not very much like muay thai yes you use most of your body...that doesnt mean they are alike.. Unless you are doing full contact sparring then it will never be as effective.. in the majority.. plus TKD has alot of flashy wasteful moves.. I have a team mate who started with TKD he is supposed to be very good at TKD...he has been doing it for 10+ years yet when we full contact spar..he gets beat..reason is he picked up bad habits from TKD leaving arms low..

  • @MuSiCiAnMaTtHeW that is most likely just bad teaching from his instructor not because of tkd. traditional tkd teaches that blocking is very important and so is punching in close so we keep our hands up. but wtf or tournament tkd is bad always keeping hands down.

  • @ajwall1 lol its not bad teaching it is his tournament teaching.. he isnt a bad fighter he actually does well..but he uses muay thai over TKD.. but to be truthful i only say muay thai is better because of the full contact spar...take it from my experience.. if you are not going the rounds then you are not using what you were taught in a real fight..

  • @Dimbyyyyy throwing to flashy of kicks.. Reason why muay thai is such a good martial art is because the sparring is full contact..instead of you hit once then reset...

  • @MuSiCiAnMaTtHeW Actually In Muay Thai we don't spar full contact, our techniques are to heavy whats the point of being injuried with black eyes every other day? so most gyms we go all out on the bags, focus mitts, pad work etc etc Sparring we only go light or what we call technique sparring. This is fact in almost all Muay Thai gyms Full Contact only when your in the ring. =P

  • @VietzRus thats nothing like the gyms out here...granted we are not always looking to go all out but it is still full contact...only thing we are not supposed to do is throw elbows although it still happens..never heard of a muay thai gym that never had hard sparring hell before every match i at least have one really hard spar..granted there is alot of light sparring and technique sparring..there is still without a doubt hard sparring as well.. before my last fight my trainer tried to knock me.

  • @VietzRus out..i dont think i would have beat the guy without experiencing a real battle..

  • @Dimbyyyyy Maybe your are right, but that just depends on the fighter. "Flashy moves" - I don't agree with that one. I train ITF my self, and I know how this is. TKD variates from style to style, and from person to person.

Your friend gets beat in Muay Thai full+c sparring, but I don't know if my friends with black belts will lose.

This is different from what you think!

  • why do all taekwondo fighters keep their guard down

  • @bigfatbagsausage To kick fastm move Body faster, for TKD against TKD very effective ;)

  • where is Tomaz barada ? he is the best

  • ITF kinda looks like WKF ( world karate federation ) in their way of fighting

  • i prefer ITF than WTF . wtf are nothing but kick , kick and kick . ITF is more interesting to watch and these guys will fight better than WTF guys in a street fight .

  • Julia cross should definetely have been in this!

  • @oOBeatZOo definatly

  • There missing alote of people

  • That last side-kick was epic!

  • Hwang Su Il wins!

  • 1:20 Wtf dude gets a blowjob?

  • @TheBeatBugs

    lol

  • what kinda music is this?

  • why do they wear those gay feet things anyone

  • @westhamboy95 go kick someone barefooted and then tell me how it feels even in wtf they wear foot protection but its hard to notice

  • @Farreller2011 hahaha no they dont because i used to do wtf and they kicked a body protector although some people wore them but not many

  • @westhamboy95 u obviously havent done it because they do wear foot protection its a very small pad on de lace part of ur foot

  • @Farreller2011 i know exactly what yu are talking about an it is not compulsory i never wore them

  • @westhamboy95 i never stated they were compulsory bit id recommend them cos ur foot does hurt

  • @Farreller2011 depends who you are really i did tkd for 6 years and i did quite alot of tournaments and i never really felt anything on my foot tbh

  • @westhamboy95 true

  • ITF>>>>>wtf?!

  • @chrisgeorgegray i never proposed anything ,forget about any unresisted non contact methods and just spar heavy,do realistic drills with light contact and plenty of padwork and wrestle. After 17 yrs training at least 3 times per week i think i understand the itf pretty well.

  • The guy at 0:12 is Stephen Talipatu and I've seen him fight a few Muay Thai fighters and win.

  • @ApollosInsight Alot of ITF fighters can go toe to toe with Muay Thai fighters and win

  • @chrisgeorgegray Yeah, I actually found a difference between ITF (traditional) and WTF (sport olympic) styles.

But the sad thing is, there aren't that many ITF tkd fighters in MMA (I personally think that it's very useful in MMA)

  • @ApollosInsight Yeah but then MMA isnt preparing you for street situations, where as ITF is and to me personally that is more practical then MAA for self defence.

  • @chrisgeorgegray Oh, okay, so ITF is MUCH more well-rounded than MMA then, right?

  • @ApollosInsight i wouldn't say more well-rounded, just it has blocks and weapon defences and kill techniques, but there both effective.

  • @chrisgeorgegray itf isn't defined by street worthy techniques. taekwondo simply means foot fist way. it's a very basic and simple martial art. good for sport maybe good for street though not sure. simplicity is good but it has to actually achieve results. never do a head kick to a standing opponent inthe street of course.

  • @maxgunn555 Dude ITF instructors dont encourage head kicks in self defence, WTF sucks and everyone knows that, trust me buddy train in ITF and you will see it has very very effective street worthy techniques.

  • @chrisgeorgegray tell me a few of them?

  • @maxgunn555 Tell you a few of what?

  • @chrisgeorgegray a few of the street worthy techniques duh.

  • @maxgunn555 1 Step Sparring techniques, 1 Step Sparring take-downs, majority of kicks in ITF are done to the ribs, or body, axe kick to the shoulder or collar bone, to be honest buddy of your kicked in the chest by a front kick your gonna have a tough time getting up, 1 step ITF forms are based to street defense, you need to learn more buddy trust me.

  • @chrisgeorgegray i did not know that itf did take downs like some jiujitsu lol. generally i just think any kick above the shins is going to leave you vulnerable to being off balance and dominated in a street fight. i think tornado kick might be quite usefull. but just standing and kicking above waist leaves you to vulnerable to being off balance. jumping kicks allow you to get out of harms way. itf isnt that bad. wtf definately is. it's a big IF with that front kick though.

  • @chrisgeorgegray no kick in the chest is going to have any significant effect, ribs ,liver or solar plexus yes but not chest.I full contact sports nobody gets hurt with chest kicks.Tkd 1 steps are utterly useless as a training method like almost everything in itf tkd,its you who needs to learn by training in realistic method .I did itf tkd for 17 yrs and chos tkd for 2 before switching to thai and wrestling and then mma.I was better after 6 months of thai than i was in the previous 17 tkd.

  • @chrisgeorgegray it has blocks that dont work and the same for weapons defense and a simple punch can kill from someone who never even trained ,there are no kill techs .MMA is a full contact all round combat sport, itf tkd is a light contact style that spends 90 % of its time punching the air and doing patterns with zero wrestling or grappling.Neither MMA nor tkd prepare you for the street since they both neglect the psychology of conflict.

  • @ApollosInsight zelg galesic is the only elite mma fighter with a elite itf background(world champ at under 80 kg). However, hes been thaiboxing and grappling for years also and couldnt succeed with just tkd.

  • @chrisgeorgegray you could count them on 1 hand and none could do so with elite thai fighters. If it was itf rules then obviously theyd do better since leg kicks, knees, elbows ,clinch and full contact isnt allowed.

  • @billysue2 you clearly havent got a clue what your talking about, have you trained in either style? where are you qualitifications?

  • @chrisgeorgegray have you read the below posts where I explained my background?I was a black belt in itf at 14 yrs old and stayed with the itf for 17 yrs before finally quitting after yrs of frustration at its horseshit.Id be less qualified in thai with 2 yrs experience but improved more in that time than all my years in tkd.Ive done bjj for 15 yrs and bit of olympic wrestling also, lately ive been training with some mma fighters as a sparring partner.Thats 26 yrs continuous training.

  • @billysue2 I'm surprised your ITF branch gave you a black belt at 14 most ITF school dont give one out to anyone younger than 16. Great MMA is a sport it is pretty ineffective on the street and so is BJJ. BBJ cannot help you in the street neither can Wrestling. trust me once you understand how self defense works and how anatomy of the techniques your using, you will realize how your "horeseshit" will fuck someone over. its all about the practitoner buddy not the art.

  • @chrisgeorgegray i got black in 1987,in those days there were 10 yr old blacks never mind 14 and most were useless, the standard is that bad. There was only 1 itf then gen chois,no branches.MMA is incredibly effective if a fight follws a confronattion but it neglects psychology ,multiples and weapons.Bjj is the most effective 1 on 1 system bar none and the quickest to learn.Any decent wrestler would annihilate a non grappler with the right strategy. Its about the training method and the man ,
