  • This team should have won the national championship.

    Die in a fire, Melo.

  • Man that team should have won a championship. Aaron Miles, Kirk Hinrich, Nick Collison, Drew Gooden, Wayne Simien, Keith Langford, Jeff Boschee, Michael Lee...so many NBA players on there.

  • That long range 3 at the end of the Mizzou game... Wow. Miss those days.

  • @Lysendc Tyrel Reed hit a huge three at the end of the Mizzou game there this season.

  • The Hinrich maneuver!

  • PERFECT form on the J.... exactly how coaches teach you to shoot. His fundamentals are flawless. Watch his defensive posture when he plays. Man I hope the Bulls don't trade him, he is an excellent combo guard able to play the 1 or 2 with equal efficiency. Also his crossover is vicious! #12 BABY!!! Give it up for Captain Kirk!

  • a solid pro. a starter for most of his career, a great on the ball defender. one of my favorite bulls of all time, and that's saying something.

  • kirk should have won a championship! KU had such great teams in 2002 and 2003

  • ice in veins

  • he's gettin paid now and hes gettin older....harder to move as fast as a 20 year old

  • aww we should've beaten maryland in 02 and been natl champs

  • What has happened to his quickness and outside shot??? This guy was a stud in H.S. and college!

  • He has been inching back into the old Kirk recently..

  • He doesn't seem to play with the same confidence level he had his first few years with the Bulls. He was once a GO-TO guy.

  • money

  • Everyone else is quick and big now. The NBA is a completely different world compared to college. How many tens of thousands of guys play college basketball? Including inactive reserves and free agents, there's only about 400 NBA players.

  • I don't know about anyone else, but I've been a die hard Kansas fan my whole life and Captain Kirk incoporated everything that Kansas basketball is about

  • Kirk is my favorite post-Jordan Bull. The Bulls are so lucky to have two incredible point guards with no ego-tension between the players. It is an enomous advantage to have. Imagine trying to chase D-Rose around to stop him from scoring...and then your reward is to see Kirk get in your face with that smothering defense each time you try to make a play. These two guys will make each other better every day in practice. Chicago should keep them both, a legit post player is all the Bulls need now.

  • blazers gonna get ours..hahahahahah. watch out

  • Man he is the reason way i love too watch Bulls again after Jordan era.Great player!!! I hope that he stay in Chichago.

  • Hope he stay in Chicago!

  • he stepped up in the playoffs big time

  • he was wasted on the bulls, he shoulda gone to the lakers or suns or the rockets.

  • Im a huge bulls fan i know he was not wasted on the bulls b/c he had one bad season this year b/c his thumb injury he lead them to the playoffs three years in a row 05 06 07 averaging bout 14ppg and 6apg and was selected to team usa in 06 winter olympics the bulls coaching made a bad call when they starded Gordon & Salmons over him but if he returns this year which i hope he would he is most likely to start again. And the Suns have Nash and he fits better in the East anyway west PGs are BEAST.

  • Well, the East has Devin Harris, Rajon Rondo, Hinrich and a rising star PG in Derrick Rose.

But I see what you're saying.. the West does have CP3, Deron Williams, Nash and Kidd. (albeit the last two are aging and are probably very close to retirement)

  • his mom is my 7th grade teacher he come by and talks to us once in a while and my uncle is best friends with him it pretty sweet

  • Wow I forgot how fast he was

  • chicago just isn't right for him. He should be in an offense like golden state or phoenix.

  • Chicago is the right place for him he plays like a East PG dont score 18-20 ppg with 8-9 apg not really a run and gun PG but he fits perfect with Chicago the only prob is with D Rose now his play time would drop. And if he played in Golden State he would see the playoffs best place 4 him other than Chicago b/c he avg over 5 years 14ppg and 6apg would be with Cleveland or Miami btw he played with Lebron and Wade in winter olympic games.

  • i forgot how fast he was

  • LOL 5:07

Missouri player scared shitless in Allen Field House

  • i kinda feel like kirk has been outta place the past 2 years,he gained 15-20 pounds over that span and i think his offence has suffered from it he has to loose some lbs and get back to basics,he is still young

  • he got back a starting position as a 2 guard along side drose he is still playing his heart out and recently had a 30 point game

  • Was this guy an animal in college or what? Just smooth.

  • He play with so much passion. One of the best Jayhawk ever!!!!!

  • Horrible choice of music. Decent quality.

Great highlights. Too bad you couldn't incorporate Max Faulkenstein's broadcasting into it. Good job anyway.

  • Because T-Pains Bumpin Booty hits would have been a better music choice.....

  • I'm assuming that's sarcasm, but no, it wouldn't have been better.

There's hundreds of other choices, however.

  • i agree i love rap but you gotta change the music up a little for god sakes, nice calm song

  • Can't wait for Kirk's jersey retirement against Mizzou! After that we're gonna smack the Tigers!

  • Agreed

  • 1;41 my favorite all tme kirk play

  • The second to last shot (against Missouri) broke my heart when I was a freshman. God I hated this kid. He was something else. Go Tigers.

  • the missouri shot (against kansas) with 1 second left this year broke my heart. I luv ku but i dont hate mizzou. i hate k-state tho lol

  • hinrich is a boss

  • one of the best to dawn crimson and blue his jersey is getting retired soon

  • that boy had ice in his veins - and he made some RIDICULOUS shots while going 90 miles an hour.

  • bulls shood of tacken beasley they allready have a good pg!

  • i totally agree!

  • Hinrich is a decent point guard, but doesn't come close to the athleticism that Rose brings to the game.

  • ur right but i just wish that kirk wold try harder

  • Even tho I'm a diehard Wildcat fan. This guy was my favorite Jayhawk of all time. I remember watching him play at Kansas. He was my favorite player. He was so nasty when he was a Jayhawk. Hopefully, he can regain his confidence and play like the old Kirk next year for my Bulls.

  • Man, i really wish hinrich play like this, screw you, he doesn't suck, one bad season, he better pick up the slack or else hes gonna be Derrick Roses Shadow.

  • he should have watched this mix to see how good he was in the past and pick up some confidence

  • he had a bad year dumb fuck. wait till next year.

  • He's in the fuckin' NBA. Where are you? That's right, sitting on your ass at home watching him play while earning millions of it. Get a life.

  • You're right. Wealthy people are better than us! Why can't more people see this?

  • its good the bulls now got derrick rose so they'll have a chris paul player as point gaurd

  • great vid man

  • I love the beat even more than the highlights

  • seems so long ago now its chalmers

  • yeah, i agree with u

  • it seriously pisses me off that he doesnt play like this in the nba. i almost forgot that he used to be fast... and could dunk. he could be really good in the nba if he played like this. anybody agree with me?

  • I cant say I agree with you. For starters, Hinrich is fast and can dunk, but its harder to run the court and to dunk in the NBA, than it is in college. You have to remember, that every player in the NBA was a star in college, so every game hes playing against the best of the best, unlike when he was at Kansas. Also the style of play is different in the NBA than it is in college.

  • i see what ur saying, but hes had chances to throw it down and he just doesn't dunk anymore. i havent seen him dunk in like 4 years. he plays way too conservative now.

  • Nice ass music. What song is this? And why doesn't Hinrich DUNK anymore??!?! (aside from the 2 dunks he's had in his NBA career). It doesn't seem like it's fun for him anymore. Can anyone find out why he's not dunking??? Jumping around having fun??

  • He's probably doing it to conserve energy. Plus, I would bet his layup has a higher percentage of going in than a dunk against some taller, stronger competition.

  • Music: Not sure, but hot though!

Dunk: (in my opinion) The coaches (Skiles, love the guy!) took that away from him and wanted him to play like a real PG

Jumping around having fun: See dunking above.

    GoCUBS!

    -3st-

  • what song is this?

  • "Silver" by Bonobo

  • shit, i miss those days.

  • sweet

  • one of my favorite bulls

  • Him and Gordon just aren't getting it done for the Bulls. Too Undersized, and Hinrich isn't the best defender at his position.

  • kirk is RECOGNIZED for his DEFENSE

  • Yeah, but he doesn't have the lateral quickness to guard guys like Iverson, Paul, Davis etc...

  • yea, though thats not ur every-day-guard. they just need a post up player

  • i disagree seeing that he shut down wade two years ago in the playoffs. i feel like he just lost his motivation

  • he's actually one of the best defenders at his position. due to the bulls' lack of big shooting guards (before hughes came, and thabo is only starting to blossom), he was assigned to defend bigger and stronger guards.

he'll get beat at times, but he'll keep on hustling cos its best for the team

  • He blows by Josh Howard at the 1:05 mark.

  • he can be one of the best nba pointguard in two or three years, incredible...

  • Holy hell Force

  • whats the song?

  • Wow i loved this guy with this team, hinrich, langford, miles, boshe, graves, collison, lee, semien(sp), and roy williams, ever since those guys left, i pretty much hate them, even though ill accept the fact that there good, and im a ksu fan now.

  • KSU fan... Im sorry.

  • Kirk Hinrich is a beast

  • on a sidenote.......He can dunk? i watch most Bulls games and never seen Hinrich Dunk.

  • someone tell Hinrich to play like this for my Bulls. I love the kid, but he makes me so frustrated as a Bulls Fan.

  • Kirk Hindrich plays point guard with the bulls. So he isn't looking to score and slash to the basket and score. He'd look so much better if he started doing those things in the NBA. He needs to start taking notes from Steve Nash.

  • 1:06 on the video is one of my favorite parts. When you watch the One Great Ride video, on that clip you hear Brad Armstrong say of Hinrich, "Some people don't think Kirk Hinrich is that fast. He's fast."

    A legend.

  • how the hell is he overrated?!!! no one ever even talks about him and he consistantly puts up huge numbers for the bulls!

  • Awesome man, i got chills like a motherf***er

  • Incredible mix. Love the 30 footer against Mizzou at the end. Hinrich is my favorite Jayhawk of all-time.

  • That was a great video, Hinrich is my favorite Jayhawk since Vaughn. What is the song called?

  • song is "Silver" by Bonobo.

  • Dayum Kirk was nasty. Dayum

  • key word "WAS"
