  • Porsche was much tighter n the turns.Looked a little down on horse power to the Audi. I would take either car but I am hoping to get my Porsche very soon!

  • I watched all your videos and don't see any sub 1:40 runs. Please post one that has you doing what you say. Not saying it's impossible, just that it doesn't look like it to me.

  • @amddoggie09834 -- fair enough, I've posted a video showing a 1:37.27 lap time (should be in my list of videos at the top of the page) -- it's titled "1:37.27 PIR Lap time Stock Cayman S w/Potenza RE11 Street Radials". I tried to post a direct link in the comments but YouTube doesn't seem to allow that. I'll look around and see if I can get a direct link.

  • Not terrific driving - shifting at 6K...

  • Agree, 2nd time at the track and I was coming off 5 years driving only automatics. The laps were 1:44's on this day, but by the same time next year (Oct 2009) I was doing 1:37's. That says two things (1) the Cayman builds a driver and (2) ProFormance runs a great school. My GT3 video shows a 1:39 from Aug. 2009, by Oct I was putting down 1:37's (still on street tires). I post that as well when I get a chance.

  • This is a Sony AVCHD Flash memory camcorder. If you are in the market, DO NOT get a hard drive based camcorder as they will skip from the vibrations (and in the case of Sony) stop recording.

  • What camcorder are you using? Looks like fun!

  • Sony HDR-CX12 is the model #.
