  • "Everyone dies, But not everyone lives"

  • We are hoping for their retrieval Jeb! we are praying for you! Markinhos Santo André - Brazil!

  • he should have gotten more familiar with wingsuits

  • 5 ft? Cmon that's just unrealistic. Isnt there one of your videos where you clear the cliff with like 3-4 ft?

  • Wow. If I were Jeb, I would've quit wingsuiting forever. He is a hero for continuing on what killed his friend.

  • Miscalculating his distance from the bridge, Weston struck a railing while traveling an estimated 120 mph, killing him instantly and dismembering extremities. Cleanup from his impact took two full days, and many parts of Weston's body were never recovered.

  • RIP

  • Don't worry guys, it's normal that you want to see the uncut video...

i want to see it too. so please someone send me the link to the video where i can see him hitting the bridge, it's just my way to show respect for him.

i lied, i just wanna see him slat on the bridge. sorry

  • the most BASED jumper

  • boom there goes the dynomite

  • poor bugger...such an extremely risky stunt for someone knew to wingsuiting...i could maybe understand a very experienced person attempting it...r.i.p man

  • @fellXhouseXranger knew to wingsuiting

    knew to

    knew.

    its new.

  • @DrVoiceOfReason Yeah man.. Dwain was like new to wingsuiting and he wanted to take on a hard challenge man.. The uncut video must be disgusting!

  • We all die doing what we love: living.

  • HE SHOULD HAVE WORN A HELMET - IF YOU WATCH THE VIDEO AGAIN HE IS NOT WEARING A HELMET ON THE BASE JUMPS OR IN THE PLANE JUST BEFORE THE FATAL JUMP - AND THEN HE SAYS SOMETHING ONLY A SUICIDAL PERSON WOULD SAY TO JEB, CONFUSING JEB - HE EITHER HAD A BAD PREMINITION OR WAS SUICIDAL AND NOT WEARING A HELMET INDICATES HE MUST HAVE HAD A DEATH WISH.

  • @LISZTIZATION

    lol, are you serious guy??

at those speeds a helmet wouldn't have made any difference....

  • @LISZTIZATION At 120mph, your entire body goes *splat*. A helmet won't do shit for you.

  • @LISZTIZATION his fuckin leg game off, do you think the helmet would have helped with that?

  • Hmm it feels like Dwain knew what was gonna happen...

  • @SheepNorway : I think so too, in the last second before impact you can see, that he stretch his arms to avoid the impact. Shit! Horrific! But, all the time when I pack my chute after a jump I can read this on the inside of my parachute: "Parachuting is a high-risk activity which may cause or result in serious injury or death." RIP

  • do you guys think jeb should've take dwain's part and fly himself over the bridge and let dwain fly under it, with his new suit?

  • @guyman20 No. Dwain was WAY more experienced by far. If Jeb were to have swapped spots and of died....would that change anything. Not really imo....Dwaine lived a spectactular life and there are only a handful of people that will EVER live life like him... He had a great life. May he rest in peace.

  • I hope he had fun.

  • @mindfuqq where can i find the whole video? unedited

  • 0:45, last glimpse of him before he died as he flies away from the plane.. i got chills

  • I hope the guy that hit the bridge is alright. I wish him a speedy recovery.

  • @rrr1sportrider did you not hear the person say that the guy died instantly?

  • @rrr1sportrider hes dead

  • @rrr1sportrider The guy is talking about "other stuff" floating in the sky. That means other parts of the guy who hit the bridge. Definitely dead, and most likely in multiple pieces.

  • @rrr1sportrider dude seriously he fucking hit a bridge at 120mph and it also says repeatedly that he died instantly and people are making comment about how he died doing something that he loved and i agree so you are either unimaginably retarded or you playing some fucked up joke

  • @rrr1sportrider

Wtf? dude... you should study physics and English.

  • his judgement failed him.

    1. he never used 1 before.

    2. he knew he was trying something stupid, "whatever happens, happens"

  • The people saying he died doing what he loved need to get their head out of the clouds. no, he died in utter panic and staight chaos and terror. lets not get it twisted, slamming hid body into ruthless metal isnt what he loved to do

  • @PowerSprinter no... he probably realized that he was gonna crash micro seconds before he did, his brain could not comprehend terror at that speed. and yes he didn't want to die like that, but if he had to go in an untimely manner, im pretty sure he would have liked to go out while base jumping

  • @KnightsHuSayNee Hopeful thinking. realistic? no

  • @PowerSprinter he's traveling at 120 mph... lets see how well you process moving that fast. That's not wishful thinking, thats science you pessamistic cunt.

  • @KnightsHuSayNee Nice insult. that really heled support your thesis and dislayed your advanced intellect. oh wait, nevermind, it just made you look like an aggressive keyboard warrior, aka, a loser

  • They look like little sugar gliders :3

  • Did he die?

  • @bigwill34769 duh.

  • @bigwill34769 No he didn't die. He just hit the bridge at 120mph, no biggy.

  • @bonezy09 sarcasm detection fail

  • @bonezy09 haha nice sarcasm

  • I think its funny how the guy who wanted to kill himself ( Jeb Corliss ) but found a way to risk his life and get the same result even said" thats just unrealistic". The irony

  • Owned!

  • @wangtangkiki already answered

  • "5 feet, I mean come on that's just unrealistic"..... shut the f*ck up you stupid c*nt the whole idea of jumping out of an aircraft is unrealistic in the first place have fun killing yourself its clear you don't understand the value of human life...there's no second chances dumbass

  • @gwafoo21 dude shut up your going 120 miles an hour it takes you fall at about 20 feet per ten seconds that imposable to do you need liike 20 feet to clear the bridge easy.

  • @gwafoo21 Your too much of pussy to understand where this man is coming from. What??we should follow the boring trend of going to work, coming home, watching a bull shit sit com, sleep and repeat the crappy cycle? Where your most exciting day of the week is payday?? You only live once you ANUS do what you love to do not whats expected of you. Your what some ppl call..."just another lame". Jeb Corliss is the man he dont give of shit anybody's opinion positive or negative, he do what he love

  • @BarCode718 wow u retard this is the same dumb bullshit that Jeb and the dumbass mother fucker who died are spewing at all of u. No shit its not very fulfilling to sit at home and go to work day aftr day, but that doesnt mean u should risk what precious life u have by almost killing urself. u skydiving faggots r too dense to find out a healthier source of adrenaline. if u really valued life, u wouldnt risk it so carelessly. barcode i hope u give it a try so u can do us all a favor and fuckin die

  • @gwafoo21 Hahaha your a lame and your mad....

  • Just saw Jeb Corliss ESPN special and had to come here and get more input in this tragic accident. Yup he died doing what he loved. R.I.P Dwain.

  • @KINOLOCO1 same here.

  • What happens when you hit something that hard that fast your brain slams against the skull causing instant death

  • 'Whatever happens, happens...' At least he was prepared, that's the only mentality you can have when you do something like that.

  • poor guy...-.-

  • What happens to someone that hit's something that hard? Is there video of it? RIP dude.

  • @MNboardride420 They die.

  • Have to admit the guy was pretty reckless. Trying to clear a bridge by 5 feet? That's a deathwish if you ask me.

  • what a terrible thing to witness

  • I was at the DZ the day it happend. I got to met Dwain a few minutes before he and Jeb got ino the back of the truck to ride over to the plane. I remember being in total awe by this skydiving legend. When we heard about the accident I was totally crushed. Even though I had just met him he was the epitome of what newer skydivers like I was at the time wanted to be. He is still a inspiration to push the envelope and do what you love.RIP to the legend and the inspiration that is Dwain Weston

  • @megastarman fuckin gimp...your comment was pointless and thoughtless, no respect

  • atleast he died doing what he loved

  • @hayesarewaste no one loves smashing into a bridge and missing the rest of their life. i mean seriously, what a lazy thing to say. It's not noble to try to split hairs over whether or not you'll hit a bridge, it's just stupid. just clear the bridge, enjoy it, and make the rest of your life useful.

  • @hayesarewaste I bet he liked living much more

  • @nomnomdk Exactly!! 'at least they died doing what they loved' is such a thoughtless cliche.

  • @mattmit Then maybe He shouldn't have taken such a huge risky trick if he wanted to Live :\ He knew damn well he would die if he screwed up the flight - so in this case the "cliche" applies. Died doing what he loved to do.

  • he probably knew what was coming i think he tried to get as close to the bridge as he could for a extreme thrill but failed miserably but he was a legend

  • and why is he an idiot? for pursuing something he loves doing? This sport is dangerous, jumping without knowing you can die, i plain stupid, these guys have jumped over 200 times each, they know the risks loser. I would like to see you try base jumping.

  • @Robert people like watching that stuff, im only here scanning the net trying to find it, its not disrespectful its entertainment ;)

  • Where can i find the unedited footage of him hitting the bridge?

  • @mindfuqq no where because people dont want to see that! sick bastard

  • @snowyywwinters Don't speak for everyone else. You don't want to see it. I would like to see what hitting a bridge flying at those speeds looks like. Call me what you will, but there's nothing wrong with curiosity.

  • @mindfuqq Have you ever heard about respect for those who are dead?

  • @robertomorelli1986 Sure have, which is why i won't slander the man or piss on his grave. All i wanted was the unedited footage of what we all just watched. Not a crime.

  • @mindfuqq

I can't find it either mate..all the clips are from the same program

  • @mindfuqq i know dude i wants to see...

  • RIP

  • rip man at least he died doing his passion

  • best way to die!!

  • not when youre as young as he was

  • this is nasty. R.I.P

  • Comment removed

  • he's the best DUH whatever happens happens oh duh why would he even say that to me thats bizarre OH WOW He just had a cliff strike No jeb he hit the bridge he's dead. Do you know what went wrong. I know Exactly what happened he tried to miss the bridge by 5 feet COME ON 5 Feet that's just unrealistic DUH! he wanted it to be SPECTACULAR It was thanks next time maybe try 10 feet would that be realistic?

  • what's the song which is starting at 0.45 ?

  • Pushed the envelope; didn't make it.

Cue up the Jim Carroll tune.

  • I once saw a full uncut version of this video. Its haunting to say the least. Kinda glad this one is censored to be honest. You dont wanna see it.

    R.I.P

  • I say I would like to see the uncut version but deep down I know I dont.

  • where did u see it?

  • I want see it. >.>

  • @stevil2006 I want to see it.. please send me

  • What about the people that have to "CLEAN UP"....so that no one else is harmed by their fun get their mates to pick / scrape up the pieces. Im all for it but dont say when it goes wrong they harm no one else.

  • Awesome way to go. Shold have gone for the ten feet over the railing approach. Severed leg man? Thats gnarly to the power of a hundred!!!

  • personally, i think if someone wants to do base jumping, who are we to stop them. the cotton wool way of thinking is ridiculous.

the man died yes, he died because nerves affected his judgement. noone else was harmed, and that man died doing what he loved.

  • I'm gonna venture a slightly unusual argument purely out of curiosity of what people think (it's not a personal opinion): societies ban class-A drugs to protect its citizens (eg. stop them OD'ing on Heroin), but that doesn't stop determined people experimenting, and killing themselves. Similarly, societies around the world have banned BASE; maybe to discourage people from taking up the notoriously dangerous sport (?), maybe to protect the lives of bystanders who might be at risk...? Anyway...

  • If BASE jumpers can be praised/idolised for their brave/crazy risk-taking and experimentation, can recreational drug takers also be praised in the same way? Should society be happy that their risk taking and experimentation makes them happy (?), and that they die happy, doing what they love...discuss please.

  • watching a person fall at terminal velocity, close to a bridge or not, has a universal omg! wtf! appeal......sure, a staggering smackhead gives us all a smile, but i wouldn't stand and watch one pass over a bridge unless he too was travelling outrageously fast and a touch on the lowside!!!

  • LOL! Thanks for response. Yup, we're agreed that, as far as spectator sports go, BASE wins hands-down over recreational drug-taking =D

But isn't that the point? Is the spectator appeal the reason why BASE jumpers are seen by many as such heroes? If watching smack-heads was just as exciting, would we champion those risk-takers too...?

  • R.I.P dwain, total legend!

  • i seriously thought this was gonna be the uncut verson, someone please send me the link i wanna see the impact for some twisted reason lol

  • lol stalefish me 2. first thing i did wen adverts came on was come on here haha

  • WTF man I want to see him splat where can I get the uncut version?

  • cheers dude, saved me a couple of minutes..

  • yeah i saw it on channel 4 a moment ago. it may e wrong but i need to see that. link me if you find it. cheers

  • I unfortunately also have a morbid curiosity about what happened to Dwain. Just watching the blanked vid and hearing people screaming was terrifying, but nobody on C4 documentary explained how he died - did he break his neck? Did he break into pieces on impact???

Watching the uncut version would probably make me feel ill, but at least it would stop me thinking about it...!!!

  • there were 200 people on that bidge

  • they aint called daredevils for no reason.

    RIP Dwain

  • he seems a little disrespectful towards dwain

  • He's probably bored of talking about it.

  • in my opinion he tried to pass the banister as close as possible and fucking failed. what an idiot!!! before he jumped he said to jeb wahtever happens happens. according to jeb he never said anything like that before. this leads me to the conclusion that he really planned it. plus he was flying a wing suit he never flew before or didn;t have much experience with!!!

  • I find it hard to believe he would plan to kill himself in such a horrific way that would leave hundreds of people mentally scarred...my interpretation of what Jeb said is that Dwain was nervous about the stunt; guess lack of confidence in suit and approach...? He was clearly trying to give a memorable performance (ie. get dangerously close to the bridge), and plain mis-judged it IMO.

  • i totally AGREE with u. with he planned it i meant he planned to pass the bannister as close as possible. he sure as hell didn't wanna die in my opinion. he was the best, though, and still is to this day. it's a shame he died the way he died.

  • Doh! Typical forum misunderstanding.

Thanks for polite response - glad we agree.

    RIP Dwain Weston

  • That one guy that survived is nuts.

He's talking about the guy trying to clear the bridge by 5 feet being unrealistic?

He plans on JUMPING OUT OF AN AIRPLANE WITHOUT A PARACHUTE.

    This is madness.

    Someone should stop him.

  • Ye of little faith. He is doing the research, experimenting, and knows what hes talking about. There will always be people like you to try and stop something they think is crazy. But if people listened to you, I shudder to think what the world would be like today: Prehistoric.

In essence: Shut up. Thanks. :]

  • Whatever, it's his passion to do this, and he knows the risks, has seen others die and yet continues. It's entirely possible that he'll have an accident and die one day, but he'll die happy, and what better way to go? He may be a risk taker, but they're calculated and carefully reduced risks, he has a ton of skill, this isn't some half wit idea.

  • u sir rock.

    best reply ever

  • yea. 5 feet is unrealistic for the guy who hit the bridge seeing he wasnt familer w/ wingsuits. but jeb corliss is doing an experiment right now to land without a parachute w a wingsuit. he'll probably still wear a parachute just incase

  • does anybody know where i can see this video uncut ? they black it out when the jumper hits the bridge

  • You're a sick person. Obviously they aren't going to release the footage of the actual impact. I am in awe that you actually enjoy and get entertainment from watching people die in gruesome ways. I used to not believe that movies and video games were desensitizing our society, but now I'm not so sure.

  • i'm not as sick as you might think. i'd have a pretty queasy stomach seeing that guy hit the bridge

my interest is in wondering how many lives he put in danger by discarding his safety margin for his own daredevil thrills. how many people were on that bridge and how close did they come to getting killed by a body falling from the sky ? his comment of 'whatever happens happens' is okay when its only himself he can injure. i have issue with him bringing danger into the lives of others

  • ok that makes more sense. youre right he probably put quite a few lives in danger which is unacceptable. however people do that everywhere not just in the skydiving and base jumping communities. in fact i would say that people are more concerned with others' safety in these sports than in other sports just because of the unforgiving nature if something goes wrong. he made a huge mistake and he payed the price. its fortunate that no one else payed the price for his mistake as well.

  • u suck...u have the right to be a politician..u ll make a good one.

  • faggot

  • Didn't he speak about this thing in fearless already .. ?
