i would apply for a position as a garbage man before i live there again. I lived there one semester and there was mold and shit in the AC duct and i was sick the whole time, i talked to the housing director and she made me pay 1200 dollars just to break that nazi housing contract, if i could do it again i would have gone to Broward College, what a waste of my money and time (Find Another Univeristy - Frequently Arrested University) GTFO while you can!

@SterlingRose26 Yeah they do, I just came back from orientation, and you can control the temperature on every suite :D

@padix900 you control the temp for both rooms, so dont get stuck with someone who likes it at 78 like my neighbor room...then they get the RA involved and you never get it cold...oh and call maintenance now to clean your air duct or you'll be sick for the whole semester. dont forget to tell people that!

@padix900 not all hope is lost, because you get to make a contract and you put what temp you like your room to be so dont sign it first, sign it last if you can and if you see your roommate or your roommate in the double next to yours puts like 78 or something like that put 62 and tell him to deal, the RA will either make it 72 or 70 and tell the kid to wear a jacket or he will give you a new roommate with someone else who is having a problem and see if it works.

@italianbroker1 I live there now, me,my roommate and suitemates get along perfectly fine, and we agreed on having the AC on 67

That room looks filthy! I wonder if it stank. Lord I pray you bless me with a clean roommate when I get there. Cause I'm not going to be able to deal with that. Somebody would lose an eye. Do you guys have any home training?

No matter what you think, you cannot change your roomates behavior. You just adapt, and learn to not care, way to many other things to worry about + I was barley in the room besides to sleep. I'm OCD to an extent and tried to keep it clean but gave up fall 09' this was spring 10'.
