Im straight and Christian, and homosexuality doesn't bother me, personally, but I know what you're saying. I've heard things and I think it's wrong. I think their view is wrong and hateful, especially for people that are supposed to be so spiritually enlightened. I treat everyone the same and since I started going to drag shows here I have gotten to know many of the performers and one in particular whom I got so close to until her boyfriend approached me letting me know that he was that performers husband. You are very pretty and if you did not say anything one would think you was a woman. I agree with you and the best times I have had here is with the people I got to know in the clubs where Gays/Lesbians go to.

Not to mention if same sex couples do have kids by in vitro fertilization or similar methods, the resulting offspring would likely have healthier genes than the average offspring.

That probably seems odd to us now. Like pedophilia. But in their society it was "normal" and ideal. It's funny that society nowadays is still hung up on sexuality. The supposed concepts of "right and wrong" in sexuality within society is an illusion created by the trends of that society of the years.
Did you know that in ancient Greece the ideal relationship for a man to have was between a Man and a Boy? Though men were married, it was a chore to have sex with a woman. More often than not, it was purely for reproduction. They had active sexual relationships with boys and that was normal.
