That's because every time I've uploaded this song, UMG and their Copyright Gestapo have blocked it, despite my attempt at a copyright dispute. What's the Netherlands got that we haven't ?
Just mesmerising. As somebody who was a callow 14 year old in 1979, Siouxsie made an enormous impression on me, and half my generation I reckon. Ta for the post.
Ok Time for me to comment on this MASTERPIECE First off BIG BANSHEES Fan I wanna say This song the guitar John Mckay Does is amazeing this was before John Mcgeoch This was the orgiinal banshee cause the other drummer left and the guitar play so this was the lineup and John people said John Mckay just didnt GIVE A SHIT and i think it comes out in his playing he plays RAW its so sad Him and Kenny Morris just ditched the band from what Siouxsie says Their all icons
Thanks for putting this wonderful track on. First saw them in Aberdeen the day McKay and Morris split and the cure played in their place, seen them another 7 times since and always brilliant
Saw the Banchees twice at the Lacarno, Portsmouth .... Have a big memory of this song, watching the drummer all four limbs needed at double time, nackering.....he was the best, where is he now? Kenny Morris was his name...... listen to the drumming again amazing
@02madre -thats so,so,oh so true...u know, if more human people on this tampered planet could just accept that, progress 4 a better existance would just be.
Gives me chills and fills me with nostalgia, Join Hands has always been my favourite banshees release, they've released even better but it was the first CD I bought so it has a lot of sentimental value to me too. Love it.
this song makes me wanna have my bollocks cut off

this and "Swimming Horses" are probably two of my favorites vocally. A great studio version of horses was on the tube until it was taken down. :(

I looked for 5 years this song! I got it on a very old tape recorded from a 33T and obviously without the name of the album!
Now I have all the informations I can buy "Join Hands" and listen to it with a better sound!
Thanks to post it!
