I remember thinking to myself about this whole situation - in order to stop the Dark Genie from being born, wouldn't it have made sense to go even farther back, to when Seda first accepted the cloaked man's offer for power?

But then if that happened, they likely wouldn't have won the war. I guess Seda really had no choice but to do what he did.

The first game I got for ps2...... It took me FOREVER to get to the fucking Genie, and just like BOCKTAI5, I lost my game data before I got the boss fight(actually my cousin erased over it!) So I stopped playing it and completely forgot about the game until 7 years later when I decided to play it again because I was bored. So I played it all summer and finally beat the game. Oh..The sense of accomplishment! A lot of childhood memories and good times playing this game.

First I played this on the PS2 demo disc. Fell in love with it after 5 minutes of playing. Searched the stores for it for weeks. God I wanted to cry when I finally got my hands on a copy of it. Took me several years of continuous on and off playing to complete it.. but it was the best damn game I've ever played, and probably ever will play. Only thing that can possibly top this is Dark Cloud 3, if they make it.

I'm so glad I kept my copy of this, can always sit back and play some good ol DC1..
