@elecktroomuusiic Hey! Is it just me or this music would be great for a Handbalancing on Cranes act in Saltimbanco? Instead of doing the other handbalancing, the Handbalancing Act on Cranes can be a rotational act and they could use this music :D

This is definantly Saltimbanco, from the very first production of it...that is why the stage is different. This was the rotation act, which means they could slot it in anywhere if needed. This was only in the first production of Saltimbanco. When the reopened Saltimbanco back in 98, the had a rotation act with the same music but it was more of a rythmic gymnastic number with three girls...

They got seperated and went their seperate ways in 1998. It was when saltimbanco finished there big top tours. When they started the arena tours they didnt search for them again but they did reunite in i believe 2004 or 2008 i dont remember but they didnt perform in saltimbanco when they did. i wish they would come back.

I agree this show is old, BUT, it is cirque du soleil and the costume, music and performance are absolutely fine if you know what the older acts and songs were like Pokinoi and a few others so it might be passed its sell by date, but it still was and still is a great show even now.

This show, I'm sorry to say, is outdated. The costumes, the music, the theme itself is outdated. Cirque, this show was good, but as everything else in the world it has a SellBy date. And this has past ITS sell-by date.

Actually these are the same girls from Nouvelle Experience (they were obviously younger then). It would make sense that they look older here and it's b/c they are since Saltimbanco came after N.E.

It's good to see this number again! This was the last act of Act 1 Saltimbanco up until 96. When the show closed in 96 at the Albert hall, London, the girls then went their seperate ways. They all did Nouveau prior to Saltimbanco. it's Nicola Dawn singing lead and Laur Fugere singing back up, you can also hear  the lead guitar player Yvon singing. When the show re-formed in 98 they had a similar number in place butgymnastic

Though the act is from Saltimbanco, the video in question comes from the jubilee gala of the Cirque du Demain (Circus of Tomorrow), which has close ties to Cirque du Soleil; CdD bought CdS's first tent and set, the blue burst design w/ stars around the ring.

back when bravo cared about cirque (prior to queer eye and taht crap haha) they aired this circus festival, i'm not sure which one it is, but it has the lorador (sp?) (from saltimbanco now in mystere i think), and a bunch of other amazing circus acts from europe. but ya i love it haha :)
