  • oh I wanna play this song on piano but I cant find anything about it! :/

I love this song and also dead like me! :)

  • I love this song. Dead Like Me, kinda changed my perspective on life. I want some more seasons.<3

  • Bring back DLM !!!

  • WE want DLM back! Oh man, miss it!

  • @usatij Agreed, but how would they do it? The only way I can think of is picking up where they left off in the show and setting the new episodes between then and the movie. But then they wouldn't be able to use George's family anymore.

  • I really dont like the new Daisy in the movie though... Poor Rube... R.I.P

  • The language in some of the song sounds kind of like Papiamento.

  • I miss Dead Like Me, it was such a witty, enjoyable take on the concept of death. So much more interesting than Big Brother and other mindless junk of that nature.

Such a beautiful, funny series that deserved more time to develop.

  • man i wish this show was still on tv

  • They need to make more

  • @Conner123654 i agree

  • I love this show too. 'Died' much too soon. Asked questions, in a thoughtful, humorous way. My best friend would watch with me. She asked if I thought there are reapers. She died this past Jan. Jill... I hope you found out. I miss you.

  • Absolutely "LIKE" because that was a great show....best writing, and actors for that time.GREAT shows....(I think we all know who they are...)

  • Good movie and great ending, made me smile "I am SOOO Fucked".

  • c'est un de mes coups de coeur. Bravo

  • @leChiffreProds2 Merci, content que vous ayez aimé:)

  • luv dis songg...jus cant get rid of it! :D

  • o think the ending to dead like me was just the perfect ending

  • After watching the series and then watching the movie it seems so depressing.

  • People are right Ellen does look to different from the movie and show I thought she looked way prettier in the show

  • I like IT

I Think It Was in 'The Next Best Thing'

  • ОООО, ДАВНО ИСКАЛА И НАШЛААААА ! КЛАССССССССССС !

  • yay finally found it

  • My sole problem: you're focusing soley on the movie, what would be ok, if the movie offered us the "real" Daisy. Replace the scene with the false Daisy through the real one, and the clip will be near perfect.

  • Great show that died too soon. I just finished watching the entire series and the movie last night. I really thought the movie was fantastic and complimented the rest of the series. I think people are way too critical about the movie though. Yes Rube was gone, but his absence helped with George's development even more so. Yeah, they replaced Daisy, but the new actress that played her wasn't all that bad. Anyway, I love this song and I have plans to add it to my IPod. :-)

  • AWWWWW....love the sound loved the show ===thanx

  • I LOVE THIS SHOW

  • just watched the movie and just heard the music...awesome!!!!

  • Love this...but I just have this off feeling that the lyrics aren't even 90% right! I don't know for sure, and I'm not trying to insult you! After all its hard to understand her!-p

But i have a strong feeling that she isn't saying "Do you know that behind of this bond"

but instead, "Do you know that behind all these walls"

    Or is it just me??

  • @HaPie9D

Yes, it is difficult to hear - and I just ripped these from somebody that might have heard wrong or had the wrong information - so you might very well be right. If anybody knows, feel free to enlighten us :)

  • @bloodsuckingclown The true lyrics can be found on the Métisse MySpace Page Blog. It is an assortment of Aïda's multi-lingual talents. [...myspace.com/metisse/blog ..] BOOM BOOM BA which WAS originally written & produced back in 1999 by Skully's DUO Métisse (Skully did the music; Aïda Brédou is in vocals) has been widely used including in DEAD LIKE ME. You can also find Skully on MySpace. Two very amazing musical talents.

  • @grampam17 Thanks, updated :)

  • @HaPie9D That line I believe based on another lyrics site is "Do you know that behind all these words"

Go to lyricsmania (.com) and look up the song (it won't let me post the full link here)

  • wow reggie grew up

  • loved the show and great song, thank u!

  • great job

  • This film is really so good

    and this song is great

    i love dead like me

and I get tears in stretchable eyes when I saw the movie, her sister has grown up and so

it was a great time with Dead Like Me

    i love it!

    <3

  • Love the show. Love the song.

  • music its not verry good but not better the montage its awesome :D! good job

  • I LOVE THIS SONG AND THE SERIES SO MUCH MY FAVORITE EVER IM WATCHING IT RIGHT NOW HAHA

  • i love dead like me,i watch it on netflix all the time lol

  • this is amazing, great job! I loved it :D

Umm just wondering what episode is 0:46 from... because i watched all 2 seasons and I didnt see it.

  • @deadxXxjinx

Roxxy reviving the drowning victim is from the the movie, Dead Like Me: Life After Death

  • @deadxXxjinx It's the movie just to inform you.

  • the best version, beautiful

  • this is a very good video with the music I love it

  • not a fan of the movie, it went in a completely different direction from the series. but the song is absolutely fantastic!! loved hearing it in the tv series all the time!

  • @sparktank movie wasnt terrible but the series was way better, only things that made me mad was the lack of Rube, even though he got his lights and a different actor for Daisy

  • fucking gay!

  • i reelly love this song

  • the song is in the episode when Betty got a "ride" and move on, too

  • I just learn about this TV show thanks to watching the movie. And Damn it if funny. And this Song.. It's........It's Touching. and catchy. I like them. And I like how they Sugar coat things about dead.

  • thank you! this is probably the best version of the song & video

  • Thank you very much :)

  • Geiler song <3 i love it

  • I love this show, I am SO sorry there isn't more :(

  • this music is also from Bach... I just don´t remember what music... but I´m sure is Bach

  • even without the third season, it was still a great, to be honest, its the only show i willingly watch

  • One of my favorite movies

  • i loved the movie! kind of! lol! this is a good song. when i watched the show i always looked forward to this song! i am glad i found it on utube!

  • The movie wasnt anything near as good as the series... I'm a bit bummed there's not going to be a 3rd season :(

  • me too!

  • Agreed. The subplot with Cameron was weak, at best. Or at least, not very well executed. There was potential there and it was all lost.

  • This is the song of my life, true and sad (for me). :(((

  • ecen is even

  • i first watched this show when i was in fith grade on sci fi but only saw like 5 episodes but ecen that got me hooked. its just so dark and funny.............. good tv has died and been reancarnated as american idol and hannah montana;(

  • i agree!

  • did Ruben come back at the end

  • no, but they got rid of the guy who took his place.

  • i wish...

  • i miss DLM i i just watched this on scyfy again

i love callum but concidering he's signing on to smallville to play zod there seems to be no word of a 3rd season *cry*

great movie but i miss daisy and rube... camaron was awesome

  • i dont know about a third season and Laura Harris who played Daisy Adair is now in an ABC show called Defying Gravity which is a very good show and worth watching

  • Maybe that is a reason the show isn't that bad. It makes fun and pokes fun of death. It makes it very much lighter. Very much more everyday. That's why I like it.

  • This song is fantastic!! But for some reason it gives me the creeps... and it makes me miss DLM. =(

  • with the exception of Sarah Wynter replacing Laura Harris as Dasiy Adair the movie wasn't all that bad. ok sure Rube wasnt in it but it was an interesting storyline none the less. i liked it though i admit it was a bit on the short side, i so wish it was longer

  • Love this song! Thanks for posting this.

The TV series is amazing!!!! Dark humor mixed with interesting introspective views on life and death.

  • You have some of the words wrong. Anyway.. i totally love this song and so does my toddler!

  • Yeah, probably. I dont speak the language and stole it from another poster :)

  • is that the same little sister as in the tv shows?

  • yeah it is

  • Yes it is the same one.

only Daisy is diferent, and there is no rube of course...

  • I am sorry to say i didn't like the different Daisy, i miss Rube, Hated the new guy of course, but i also wanted to say i liked the look of the new Milly (was that Elizabeth Banks? i should look it up). LOVE this song, and totally miss the show =(

  • I didnt like the movie as much as I LOVED the show--I agree, the original Daisy was best--and without Rube??? are you kidding ?? the ONLY good thing about the film (as opposed to the show) is at LEAST our beloved Georgia was still there--NOBODY beats Ellen. I'm dearly hoping the powers that be will bring the SHOW back--it's SOOO missed by its true fans (like ME! lol)

  • i love it and the song!=)

  • what ist the name of the movie???

    pls help

  • It's called "Dead Like Me-Life After Death".

But please see the original "Dead like Me" TV series on DVD first. Both Seasons....

I found the movie rather disappointing.

There were a couple of changes that weren't for the better ,but, it the movie is still worth seeing despite the 2 rather unwise decisions. The TV series is better.

  • The name of the movie is Death like me live after death

  • dead like me: life after death

  • Awesome movie just saw it a few hours ago

  • in this movie they have 2 people from degrassi (Blue and Darcy)

  • More Metisse music and full lyrics at their myspace page .... myspace(dot)com/metisse

  • Love this song.

  • favorite part was trying to kill kane :)

  • love this song :D

  • smooth with a touch of wonder.

  • first verse:

    A boom boom ba (4x)

  • love this song it adds to the mistery of what is goin on in the moive as well as the show. Even though i have no idea what she is saying i sing it as well as i can

  • The lyrics are in the right column, along with some explanations about what she is singing :)

  • Awesome movie and series. I really think the world would be a better place if people learned to appreciate shows like this, but I know I'm preaching to the choir by bringing it up here =)

  • i lovethis song and the movie

  • yeah it is a great song, and it went great with the movie, certian songs just connect really well and others are the type that the movie and song have little to nothing in common.

  • You have no idea how much I loved it when this song showed up in the movie!!!

  • A boom boom bâ,Can you hear my heart beat in this world A boom boom bâ,Do you know that behind all these words A boom boom bâ,Lies a deep desire Kamélé hé! A boom boom bâ,Mé kouman mé fora y bamê Kélé,fila, saba, nani, norou A boom boom bâ,Aligna donguiri ma digné A boom boom bâ,Mé kouman mé fôra y bamê A boom boom bâ,Aligna donguiri ma digné A boom boom bâ,Mé kouman mé fôra y bamê Kélé,fila, saba, nani, norou Can you hear my heart beat in this word (x2) Kélé...
  • Translation, please?

  • 2nd:

A boom boom bâ, Can you hear my heart beat in this world

A boom boom bâ, Do you know that behind all these words

A boom boom bâ, Lies a deep desire Kamélé hé !

A boom boom bâ, Mé kouman mé fora y bamê

Are my dreams to be all I can do ?

Lay o lay above, lay o lay below

And he said Anny will show them a new way

Mé kouman mé fora y bamê

    Kélé, fila, saba, nani, norou

  • The first verse: A boom boom bâ, (x4) Kélé, fila, saba, nani, norou A boom boom bâ, Can you hear my heart beat in this world A boom boom bâ, Do you know that behind all these words A boom boom bâ, Lies a deep desire Kamélé hé ! A boom boom bâ, Mé kouman mé fora y bamê Are my dreams to be all I can do ? Lay o lay above, lay o lay below And he said Anny will show them a new way Mé kouman mé fora y bamê Kélé, filla, saba, nani, norou
  • yeah saw it too... laugh to tears... great one

  • i saw the movie it great..

  • i hope they continue the series eventually and make more movies, i liked rube he was so wise and he would make a great role model. as for goerge, she's just cute and misguided abit but should listen to rube. great song btw. but rube should come back and at the end of the movie i loved how goerge became the leader of the group who gets to hand out the reaps. :)

  • I love this song, its so haunting lol and this series is grea :) thanks for uploading XD

  • They did not really say if Rube got his lights or not, they seemed to have left it open just in case. At lest that is what I remember...

I love the movie... I love the show as well... the movie reminded me why I love the show so much.

The way they got rid of Kane made me laugh so much XD "Be a dear and throw another leg on the fire."

  • xD I loved how they some how killed Kane lmao it was so funny

  • They said in the very beginning of the movie that Rube got his lights

  • Yeah know I have watched the movie many many times now... But still, they kind of left it open by having the main characters not believe it.

  • I love Dead Like Me so much, but why does everyone think Rube can come back? Don't get me wrong, he is my 2nd favorite character next to George, but they said in the movie he got his lights. :(

How can we hope he'll be back now that he's gone?

  • Wow reggie is a teenager!

  • I love the movie and I don't even know there's a TV series!

The last part where the post it fall from the sky...does that means she got the "job" to lead the reapers?

  • I think so, and its probably an acknowledgment from Rube - the head honcho before Kane :)

  • this song is also featured in one of the episodes, at the end of season 1, or very early season 2, i cant remember exactly.

  • I think it's in the episode where Joyce follows her daughter Reggie who has been skipping school to find out where she is going, and she sees a bunch of toilet seats in the trees. The songs plays in that scene.

  • maybe in that too, but i was just watching some episodes from the end of season 1 a few days ago, and i remember they played the song there too. i guess they love this song :)

  • very nice song

  • Yeah, but I hear that if they do a movie sequel or chose to continue on with the original series or a new one he will return. Here is hoping!

  • /me crossing his fingers for that - we'll have to wait and see :D

  • I loved the movie! :) They need to bring the series back!!!! It's so amazing.

  • I agree Realme2007, this was one of my absolute favorite shows back in the day, and something to look forward to. I think I have to see the movie one more time, as I felt that there were some loose threads in the story - but the feeling of the movie was very good. Too bad some of the original characters were missing - like Rube. He was always my favorite :)

  • Thanks guys! I just love this song, and the TV-show was one of my all time favorites. If you liked the TV-show, you will also like this movie :)

  • Great song! I love that you added clips from the actual film!!!

  • Thanks a lot a very beautiful song.
