A lord of the rings mod for thing game would be amazing, Medieval earth as the campaign map, isengard, mordor, high elves, wood elves (Or just elves), free peoples (hobbits, drawfs, rangers), rohan, gondor, easterlings and wild men and goblins as bandits. It would be amazing. I would do it myself but I lack the know how and the skill to do so. But if anyone ever does start a project like this any they need help with middle-earth lore. Im your man.

Oh man I remember playing this mod a long time ago.

Those Dead Eye archers were probably the sexiest ranged troops I've ever seen in Mount and Blade. At first I tried to join the chaos faction, but after one battle where my troops were eaten by arrows, I fell in love with those damn archers.

@sethyboy0 Yeah I had a band of those archers as well. Shooting down the enemies, and Chopping down the remains of them when they got close. so awesome!

There are some modding issues with Steam versions of Mount & Blade. It has to do with the limited load of files that Steam allows on the hard drive, with the rest of the files being downloaded temporarily when teh game is launched.

You are much better off with mods if you download from Taleworlds directly. This is a Steam issue, not a Taleworlds issue.

@Th0mse I purchased both games through Steam recently and I'm experiencing the same problem when I load and extract it into my M&B: Modules folder. It continuously tells me I'm missing a textures about bushes. Every time I've tried to install it. Which is a shame, because I was interested in this mod.

4 som reason I can't reach the Black Legion Fortress town or whatever and when ever I do need to go there I have to flatten the land so that it is like viewed from the side to see it standing up. I hve no idea what is in the east toher than that. Any solutions? I can't go east!

@Festabenkaj If the player is knocked unconcious, there is a chance that he will die and the game will end. Therefore, save often ;) Lords can be executed if I remember correctly

@001122334111 I did it about 20 times ;) pressed the ctrl+F5 keys to make slowmotion, then I speeded the middle part of it up, and then back to slowmotion after the hit. I don't think you can do it without the video editing ;)

Guys I need HELP!! I have just bought M&B, and I've been playing it non-stop for a week or so. I would love to have this mod, but should I complete the original non-modded first? before I install new Chaos mod? What does the mod actually do? will it change the stuff I have done so far? Will it transform the map with new factions and new places? Is their new armour/wep? I'm a bit confused as to what it does. Some help as to what it is and when I should install it would be awesome. @EFBoler Hi EFBoler. You can safely install a MOD while playing the original game. When you have installed a MOD it acts as a separate game, so it won't overwrite any of the game files, just create new ones. You can choose which mod to play (including the original non-modded game) from the menu that says "Current Module". But I've experienced that it is more fun to complete a game before downloading a new mod. It's not fun to have 10 unfinished games in 10 different MOD's (just my oppinion).

@NeverLetDefeat The font is found on some "free fonts" site. Search for "free fonts" on google. The colour isn't painted on, it's a texture (an image 'laid over' the letters) to give variation. For this specific one I searched for "gold texture" on google.

@jack29292 There will be a huge main quest in version 1.0. The reward from this quest will be the Chaos Sword, which is the only weapon that can kill the Masked One. Since the quest is supposed to be really epic, it has been postponed to the 1.0 release. I'm sorry but unless you know how to edit the files, there is no way to kill him in this version.
