Seed was a failure as most people couldn't get it's message of modern politics. I was able to, and to me, the seed series was a great series

00's first season had a great message to it as well, and this time it was clear to everyone. Can't really say much about the second season though

In my opinion, none of the gundams sucked, its just that the audience cannot keep up

i honestly liked the first 20 of so episodes of seed but then the plot died of rectal cancer. Seed Destiny was imposible to watch and i only watched the clips with Gundam references like the NO ZAKU!!! part.

I lvoe all Gundam series... except 00... I'm a seed fan k! but most of you can at least admit the Mobile suits in seed look a hella more classic than 00 Where are the Zakus in that one? NOWHERE! In GSD the impulse looks almost exaclty like the RX-78 except with an even more angsty pilot, and it has a backpack, the strike Freedom is like the Hi-v (Hi-nu w/e u wanna call it)... 00's suits look like aliens to me.... just saying... cept for I dunno the Dynames but that was destroyed if I remember?

@Thetempestangel i really agree, i've been trying to find someone who has same opinoins as me! 00's gundam look shit and random (and they dont look real or can be made, unlike the other orignal types of gundam)... wanna be buds?

i hate gundam seed more then i hate top gun... but hey atleast gundam seed destiny, as bad as it was, had some pretty good inside jokes, like the black tri-stars and the gouf... this is no zaku boy NO ZAKU!

but there is still nothing that compares to the orginal

SEED was fine, but GSD's bad, it started going downhil when Kira came back to haunted the audiences.

I like all of UC, Wing, and 00. Seed was alright but I heard the Destiny wasn't good.

In my opinion 00 was really awesome with the realistic stuff and spoofs like the first president of the world character(obama) but it'll never compare to the greatness of UC 0079 and up to char's counter attack,seed was a complete waste of good potential ,trying to reenact 0079 but its ok everyone has its own likes lets respect that

Hear-hear! I liked Wing, but Seed was a waste, and I've never even heard of 00. Nonetheless, nothing can compare to the original Seven Year War saga!

@Greygearsfoward 00 was a bit disappointing with the later designs. Although you should still give some credit for its contribution to imbalanced and overkill gundams like 00 Raiser. 00 Gundam was kinda rational in design. Others like Harute were't Gundams in the traditional sense anymore. :l

@Greygearsfoward How on earth was 00 Awful? I'll tell ya what. SEED was stupid.  I understood it but it's main characters were just plain awful. And ya know what? As a Gundam fan, I'd rather watch SEED Than half the anime that's coming out now. There's only SO bad Gundam can be, Y'know? How 'bout we stop hatin' and just respect Gundam as the most awesome thing ever yeah?

SEED was horrible. I was turned off Gundam for a good few years because that was the series I tried it with. I went back to the original though and loved it. :o

yeah i felt that trying to make the series we all love over without tomino went bad in opinion and one of my favorite non tomino works was wing it defiantly had the feel that it was going somewhere.

It's just a shame that it took reruns and a merchandising deal with Bandai to make it so popular and to get the Real Robot genre off the ground!
