@ProffaSam I would say start off with the most simplitic one and work your way up, or just do whichever one you prefer. I would reccommend all the techniques these songs have in them before you learn them (tapping, alternate picking, and a very small tad bit of sweeping) but you probably already knew this. And I would also say the Over the Moountain solo is more challenging than Crazy Train or Flying high Again

This is similar to Randy's Concorde. But if you note Randy's model did'nt have a Floyd Rose Tremolo and this model has. This model also has a locking nut and the pickups are closer together. The pickup's on Randy's Concorde are really far apart and it doesnt have a locking nut. This a beautiful guitar though =D

The Guitar played is a 1992 Jackson Randy Rhoads "Tribute", model. Approximately 200 pieces were made close to Randy's "Concord" model (the white Rhoads prototype), then they made approximately 200 were made with a Floyd Rose tremolo as the author has. This guitar is the true blend of Randy's passions, the Flying V and the Les Paul. Note the block inlays, the knob & p/u switch locations. It does have an upper fret access issue unlike latter Rhoads models, but it is a real beauty. Well played!

I stand corrected about your guitar, but your overpriced response is either mistaken or badly misinformed.

the 92 Rhoads Tribute models went for @ $1,500 at the time. How that is a ripoff compared to what you paid makes zero sense.

Either you are mistaking the 92 Tribute with the later $15,000 model that Jackson signed limited to 25, or you have me worried, as $5,500 new is WAY more than $1,500 new even adjusted for inflation. I agree the $15k was a ripoff, though. The Tribute? Not so much

when i went to find one of the 92's they wanted 10,000 to 12,000 for one and iknew some one at a guitar shop and they contacted jackson custom shop it took over a year to get it built

I don't know who "they" were, but the free market is what it is. I've seen tributes floating btw $5k & $8k before the recession, never 10 or 12.

IF the market will bear a $10k tribute then that hardly makes it overpriced, esp now, if what I've read was true- that Jackson won't do custom RR Concords anymore.

Today I can buy an $8k Gibson Korina V reissue, or luthier custom cheaper. That doesn't make a $100k genuine '58 a ripoff, esp if the real '58 price = cost of a reissue or custom.

if you did your research the concord was the black and gold guitar the second guitar that grover built for randy it got the nick name because randy thought it looked like the concord jet at the time those guitars where going for twice what i paid for this one and i didnt want a used guitar.

this is the prototype of the rri before the final prototype was made. you will also find pics of randy with the black rhoads v with gold hardware and a string through body, that was the final prototype that he approved, he turned this model down to to the fact that the higher notes were difficult to reach because of where the body connected to the neck, if you want a real rhoads v buy an rr1, thats what i play and its def not an immitation

Jackson sells them, it's just a Rhodes Model. Musicians friend sells them. One tip though, it's more of a show guitar that you would perform with rather than a daily Axe.

Totally! see Same thing happened with me. I was gonna buy a new guitar & I was down to a Les Paul custom Studio, Alpine white, Beautiful Axe or Rhode's beautiful white & gold signiture there. Then I got turned onto that little piece of info and I went with the Gibson. But it's not a bad guitar I just wanted something that would keep together over the years.
