Jwhirl06 I think I am gonna get the superchip I heard you can tune your trans. Also in the 04 hemi ram and the predator does not give you that option on a 04 hemi ram...I see the superchip for no less than $340 dlls. Do you know where I can get cheaper?
Can somebody help me? I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 5.7l with 104,000 miles but I being taking really good care of my truck since I got it with 40,000 miles....and I want to get a superchip but I heard the diablo predator its better.....if somebody can give me an advice and help me decide what to get.
@JWhirl06 to add to this, this was video'd while I was testing the different levels of performance on the superchips. Decided that the performance gains and fuel economy were actually better on the 91 tune.
@4x42500hemi The price was right. They all do about the same thing, clear codes, 3 levels of tuning ect. With the exception of the hypertech and some bullydog models that have a display for readouts, but I just use the PLX Kiwi blueooth ODBII adapter with Torque for android for live readouts and information.
@4x42500hemi Yeah man, most definately. The ability to change the shift points alone makes it worth the cash. They're going for about $180 which is what I paid for mine on the forums anywhere from 180 to 220 is acceptable. Make sure it's unlocked and there's a picture proving it that says "Vehicle set to Stock" or "Stock". Keep in mind, this is on 87 octane, so I can't wait to see what she does on 91 when the weather gets a bit warmer.

@jomccarty the manual recommends but does not require, but it does not matter anyway as I have it tuned for 91 and run 93.
