Holding Churchill up on a pedestal is part of the failure. Another question I might ask you is, are you aware just how many flaws Churchill had?
Cherry picking and 'quote mining' Churchill's past does not change the fact that Churchill's Britain fought + defeated the same dated and dangerous ideas being spewed in 2009 by the BNP.
There's two main sides to British working class politics, and I believe you're lacking proper guidance.

As i have already said. David Drew is not "nulabour", David Drew does not fiddle expenses, David Drew looks out for his constituents and country, no matter what there region or ethnic background.
The BNP on the other hand are scumbags. They represent the worst about Britain
This guy talks against the bnp, i think that the Labour, conservative, liberal are much worse, havn't they anything better to do than smear lies, scandel against the bnp, i think they should be thinking of more important issues at this time.

David Drew is rated one of the best value MPs. He is very active and is not controlled by the whips.
The BNP on the other hand spend half their time peddling lies and then occasionally when they do get into power the don't even turn up for their meetings. Why should we elect someone who uses the same spin years on end (ignoring the fact that they are also racist Nazis)?
Your accusing him of being Nu Labour? what you going to do next, say he's helping the PC brigade or making a nanny state.
I hate the BNP with a passion but unfortunately the BNP trolls who commented below me are mostly right - it's Labour themselves who are to blame for most of the recent successes of the BNP...
Bearing in mind of course the BNP have had some spectacular FAILURES recently as well - Croydon, Henley, Camden etc
