I was in 1st division 76-78 and S-1 division 78-80 aboard her. It makes me sad they plan to decommission her this year. I went on this ship, gave me another reason to join the Navy. Her crew is great and considering I'm hydrophobic, not something I want to be, it really boosted my morale.

With this particular homecoming, I had a family member of one of the crew give me a heads up, so I was there to film. Most homecoming nowadays I only hear about after they're in port and back home. I can always be notified ahead in a private message, but I do not publicly post dates beforehand. Yes, this was one of the most beautiful mornings. thx
