Fantastic interview. It's always great when the musician REMEMBERS what actually happened in his past. Bob is an inspiration to all musicians. For him it's all about the music.
Did Bob ever play with Jake E lee?? I can't remember if he was in or out when I saw Ozzy in Salt Lake City in 84 Ozzy fired and rehired more then anybody cause By the time he got to Salt Lake Carmine was out and Tommy Aldrige was in.
omg clearwell castle thats just down the road from me....here in the forest of dean gloucestershire.i knew zeppelin had rehearsed there just before bonham died and other artists...didnt know bob daisley and lee kerslake had been up here..."!
Yeah,Bon Died just a few weeks before Recording for Blizzard began! Id Love to see a Video of the Blizzard rather than the US band!I mean Rudy used his fingers on songs clearly needing pic & Tommy used two bass drums to do what Lee did w/one!
Do you recall anything being filmed Bob??Like The 1st gig or Hammersmith??
i could listen to bob all day!.....he has certainly rrrrrrrocked the globe many times over!!......kudos bob ;-] i would love too lay down some grooves with bob on bass!
It's also amazing how knowledgeable Bob is about other musicians. Who/what was their inspirations, their history and past works.

Bob is a great player and classy guy. His contribution to Blizzard and Diary was huge and sadly overlooked. I'm looking forward to his book.

Does anyone know if his book is out yet? I can't find it online and it doesn't seem to be mentioned on his website. If it is out, where can I buy it?

great interview but its a fucking shame that they never spoked about
Jake E. Lee,,,,,He was the best and since there are no interviews with him,,it would be very very interesting to hear someone talk about him.

Very engaging, Mr. Daisley! You are looking a bit like Paul McCartney! Cannot wait to read your book!

@DavidMRyanMD do a search for "blizzard of ozz band 1980" there is some audio of the shows and it is awesome. The crazy train intro is nuts.
