@AleksiQV Hi thanks! I made this a long time ago. I now have a quena :) It is stained marroon and has bone surrounding the holes and a bone mouthpiece. I like the instrument a lot! How long have you played it?
Nice collection, it looks like your Bulgarian instruments were made by Victor Terziyski, I have one of his kavals and I love it. Tough instrument, I'm going to play it on a gig for the first time tomorrow. Wish me luck. I'm more of a shakuhachi and didgeridoo guy but I have a pretty nice assortment too. Always room for more! Hopefully I'll get some more video clips to add to my channel at tomorrow's job with Tribal Waves.
@jazorf I hope your gig went very well! I've ordered 5 flutes from Victor and they're all great. Your channel looks great; I'm going to subscribe now. :)
@DRAGOVODA Thanks so much! I love world flutes, especially those from your region of the world. That's impressive that you can build your own side-blown flutes. Maybe someday I'll learn to do that!
hehe--sorry to disappoint, but I was doodling; there may have been something subconscious going on with what I've heard of the different flutes' cultures, though--I can't say that for sure or not. :)
@timdb85

I have played it like 2 months or something like that. It's not hard at all. You just have to get it sound good. Afterwards is it really easy :p

Beautifull collection ! I am also fascinated by world wind instruments, this morning i got my turkish kaval made of mullbery.
I also made my own plastic kavals wich sound astonishing same as those made by professional craftsmens lol.
I made a bulgarian kaval (trite puti), machedonian kaval and even a persian ney( but at the persian ney i have to practice).
I like very much that instrument from south-east Asia.
Best wishes from Romania

cool! great collection!
just wondering...do the tunes you played correspond to each instrument and where it came from, or where you just sort of doodling?
