I did this in the current version and now Vilkas is completely bugged and just keeps attacking me permanently (I do have 100 destruction though). I saved before I started and I'm going to give him overnight to calm down (leave the game running). If that doesn't clear him then I'll have to find another way to level destruction and I won't recommend this one. Good video though, the principle is sound.

@LukeSkyscraper Yep, gotta say it made my game all kinds of messed up. Although I managed to gentle Vilkas down by completing the companions entry quests (welcome to the companions I was told). Ria then started attacking me AND ever since abusing Vilkas to level destruction this way the game has been locking for between 5 and 30 seconds every minute or so. Completing quests and clearing Vilkas did not help. I recommend that players do NOT do this. Find someone else to abuse (good idea tho)

@LukeSkyscraper This is a common bug check to see if you have 0 bounty in all 9 holds.

nice video man! working on my destruction (lvl 60 atm :))

but one weird bug on this is that when i cast my flames on him he starts like repeating the same sentence and pulling his sword out and off. but anyways thanks for this!!!

@ocnard Yeah how did you get on with that? I had the same bug and it made my game completely messed up.

@LukeSkyscraper THAT is why mages should not be allowed to join the companions and vice-versa
