  • EVERYDAY BREAKS !!

  • How does this shit even have any dislikes??? U can't front on this shit right here~! PURE SKILLZ!! Corny insecure niggaz probably hatin on this? smh...

  • Dude is nasty with that shit! Skillz out the ass! Itz a beautiful thing to watch! Hiphop in itz purest form!

  • wu tang! 4:05

  • Met Cash in the Q Bar in Bangkok last year where he dropped a dope set, he was a real cool guy. We were chatting about Philly cheesesteaks and how I copped a copy of his mixtape WKIS Head Twister on vinyl way back when. Happy times.

  • super power Dj Cash Money is amazin by far awsome presizion and timing.

  • The best part of this is starting around 5:00 to about 5:30

  • o mano é foda nos toca-discos!

  • what song is in 3:55 ?

    THANKS PEACE

  • @TheZask

Liquid Swords off the GZA's album: "Liquid Swords"

  • @illxtra thanks

  • GRIMY!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HELL YEAHHH...!!! dat old skool philly shiz right der...!!!

  • the echo scratch at 1.47 is the shit.

  • STOP DROGUE

  • OMG -_-! Evolution ZERO

  • track selection was ill

  • whats that song he starts scratching to on 1:00?

  • @MsPmonkey LL Cool J - LL Cool J on the album G.O.A.T!

  • Ooooooh baggy sleeves!

  • dope

  • fun fact: did you know he was banned from the DMC champianships, to give other conteastents a chance to win. Damn hes good!

  • @MsPmonkey no one person or team has ever been banned from the dmc. fact

  • @ferndog681 banned no but he was asked not to participate anymore so its kinda liked being banned fact!!! research it

  • @cleancutt2001 DMC claims this is not true. So I guess it's a matter of who you believe. I believe DMC because it would just increase revenue to have better battles. Plus it's not like he was untouchable, aladdin ,joe cooley, jazzy jeff all same level

  • @ferndog681 well he never came back so how do you explain that??? its kinda like taking a dive your never gonna reveal the real truth and Jazzy Jeff yeah but not them other 2 cats

  • the best thing about cash is that it's not work, it's musicality, effortlessness and grace. most young turntablists are trying too hard.

  • 5:11 is when it goes off!!!!

  • ooooo shiit that was dope

  • nice... he looks... like ludacris. lol

    funny guy.

  • big fan 88-champ, i'm afraid the new kids have a lot more to offer,,, sorry to say but true!

  • @1974DEEJAY Agreed but you wouldn't expect Tyson to still be winning fights would you? Cash has nothing to prove, he has been there and done it, his peak was the late 80s and he has gone down in history, top of the game alongside Jazzy Jeff back then. Jazzy is in a different league and probably better than 95% of new cats out there still but the art moves on and I'm sure Cash is cool with that.

  • God damn, Cash...

  • what's the sonjg in 4:04 ??

  • @GangsofLA The track in question is taken from the GZA's first album called Liquid Swords, which is also the name of that track.

    Peace

  • sickk i wanna try beatjugglingg :D

  • Exactly the only one...The perfect DJ. I Love it...the Hip-Hop movment. He is very roots !

  • i think you don't understand. cash money was the SH!T in the late 1980's, then everyone started copying his style. this was just a showcase and wasn't even "good" for 2000.

  • Yo what was it that people started copyin from him?

    This joint is hot.

  • They started copying the scratches from "Pump it Up"...When he first did that scratch....ppl were shitting themselves like " WTF!!!!...How he do that?"

  • Obviously no one! LOL!

  • That shit was tight. Much props to my man Dj Cash Money.

  • what the fuck is increeeedible

  • song at 3:55 is gza- liquid swords

  • Actually no, its LL Cool J - LL Cool J from G.O.A.T

  • @aceturnedjoker

the beat is from "I'll Put a Spell on Ya" by Lightning Hopkins, a old blues singer that died in the early 2000's

  • daaaaaaaaaamn

  • o cara e fera fui no show dele no palmeiras em 1989 quebra tudo the best.

  • Cash Never wanted to make records.

  • Big up to -Cash Money--, hes dope!

  • lets chat

  • I got respect for cashmoney but he aint done nothing new since 88' he's gone stale.

  • no respect for the vets

  • although he is a great dj, u r quite right in my opinion. Beat juggling very rarely sounds musical...or even listenable

  • beat juggling never sounds musical ?!? It's the most musical element of dj'n-ever heard of Steve D or Total Eclipse ?

  • amazing

  • super nice !!!!!!! fo sho !

  • does any no the track at 0.53. plz let me no. i no its the beat for biggies kick in the door

  • thats LL COOL J..LL COOL J no I didn't repeat myself thats the track title.

  • The best!!! CA$H Money is all that! INCREDIBLE-INCREDIBLE.

  • ..one of my favorite DJ's next to 'Flash & Jazzy Jeff....

  • Cash Money sounds excellent in this set!! I love it.

  • Awesome.

    Nothing more to say.

  • Word!!!!!!!!!

  • nothin but a huge respectttttttttttt

anyone who speak bad about him is probably a teenage internet boy who learned his skills at DIY .

  • .............. DIY suck, and Dj Cash Money is the man ! qbert is a dwarf, who cant do anything else than scratch.

  • Yo man, Big respect to Cash man, He's one of the pioneers in terms of modern turntablism no doubt. No reason to hate on Q-Bert though.

  • nothin but a huge respectttttttttttt

anyone who speak bad about him is probably a teenage internet boy who learned his skills at DIY .

  • guy got style ! :D

  • §§cash§§ is great !!!

  • Ca$h rocks always one of my fav's

come back to BRISTOL soon please!!!!!!!!

  • How can anyone disrespect philly's famous dj!!!!! him n jazzy jeff were pioneers of the transformer scratch- both had there own take on the scratch pattern and zejex15 says he should practice! He is a turntablist god who didnt have qberts diy dvds to look at and become a clone like you- he's one of the inventors of this movement.

  • +1

and he's a perfect party rocker, he has so many licks to show... you have to see him in the club

  • This is good and is even harder when theres a crowd respect due cos without people like cash money turntablism wouldnt be what it is today people who judge and say this is crap are shallow and dont know what the ---- they are on about but the real turntablists give credit where credit is due.

  • This is why PPL DESPISE your generation. U guys will flat out disrespect & discredit those who set the standard, but will DEMAND others give the guys U listen to, respect, for things they OFTEN TIMES haven't even earned. U guys' arrogant-ignorance is what SUCKS..

  • ................. i mean he could practise, hmm or is it because when your older than 20 you cant learn anything no more ? Chin up, your gonna die soon

  • Lies..it's when U hide the truth. It's when U talk more jazz than proof & when U lie & address some'n U don't know..it's so WACK that it's bound to show" -- Talkin All That Jazz by Stetsasonic 1988.

Everytime I run across young arrogant-ignorant morons like yourself, I think about that lyric..

  • shut up you idiot i ahve not sayed anything to you, get out of my life. And stop posting shit about "you spelled have wrong buuuhuuuuuuu....." no i hitted wrong on the keyboard. wtf are you talking about jazz ?

  • "wtf are you talking about jazz?"

My point exactly. Like I said, it's called ignorance & stupidity. And like the quote from the song says:

"when U lie & address something U don't know..it's so WACK that it's bound to show.."

Take a dollar & buy a clue U moron! Are U that clueless that U can't figure out what that lyric means & how I related it to your posts regarding this clip? Sheesh!!

  • U keep saying you're "hitting the wrong keys", but this seems to be a consistent thing for you LOL!! How about it's simply because your a poor speller, with even poorer typing abilities & horrible sentence structure? LOL!!

  • what did i just write ? You americans cant write anything else than how i spell.

  • im sorry, my littlebrother who is scratch crazy, doesnt know anything. me used my account...

  • he had hes time

  • the actual name of the song that sounds like "kick in the door" is "LL Cool J" from LL Cool J's album G.O.A.T.

  • LOL @ ok second song anyone? the one that sounds like kick in the door!

That was the actual sample preem used

  • what is the name of the first track???

  • c.r.e.a.m - wu tang clan

  • ok second song anyone? the one that sounds like kick in the door!

  • it's called I put a spell on you.

  • All ya'll should get to know your history. I cant believe the bullshit iv'e just been reading.

    B

  • fuck all ya ! that is nice ...so why comparing wu tang with Cash Money you damn kids, they probably had done some session together, smoked som blunts together had a base and shit, somethin that you horses never come to know about..

  • ok i just read that you had seen your mistake and slove that, but again then they werent in there diapers you stupid cock holster

  • 15years before Wu came out??? I dont know. ChrisLoot but I think you are talkin shit, fuckin low life

  • Cash Money Still holding it down that's what's up!!!!

  • He been nice for a long, long time. Sounds like he's only gotten better with time. I bought his first record with Marvelous called "Ugly People Be Quiet", still got the record too. He's an inspiration to the art of being a DJ!

  • Dis guy is amazin'...one of tha pioneers of tha game! Philly djs had it lock'd at one time: Jazzy Jeff, Cash Money, TAT Money, Miz...tha niggaz I kno' who could keep NYC 'n Jersey djs on their toes in the 80s

  • True Dat for sure.

  • hey whats the song in the beginning after that wu tang one plse

  • ugly people be quiet. is that the same Cash Money? i don't know how in the hell i forgot about him. this guy is one of the original great ones

  • Mad props 2 Cash Money. One of the true originators of turntablism.

  • I am totally for the old skool, having seen Ca$h Money live in '88. In his heyday, he was da bomb. Watching him today, with all due respect, he's got nothin' on folks like P-trix, who would cream him in one minute flat. Today's music still stinks, though.

  • R U SERIOUS??? Man you need to learn your Wu-Tang Clan it's C.R.E.A.M (Cash Rules Everything Around Me) By Wu-Tang Clan. The person singing the chorus is Method Man

  • he's probably a youngin! when wu came out he was still in daipers! but yea...get educated and listen to 36 chambers son! one of the best albums!

  • I'm sorry, but you need to get educated a little... He was DJ Worldchampion (in front of a packed Royal Albert Hall, takin' it to a new level with a groundbreaking set...) in '88, 15years before Wu came out, it's more like they were in diapers...

  • I ment to say 5 years before Wu of course!

  • yo wat track is the one tht says cash rules everything around me dolla dolla bills yall

  • C.R.E.A.M.

  • wats dat ll cool j trak called?

  • Jazzy Jeff + Cash Money are the best DJs ever

  • Yeah those two are pretty much the Alpha & Omega when it comes to turntablism..

  • that was aight...he just danced around alot...decent on the turntables though

  • the last track is "Liquid Swordz" by the GZA

  • Much deserved spotlight on dj Cash Money.

  • Blackadam06, goddamn, that's deep. Your on with that observation about how ignorance plays it's role. What puzzles me the most, is the sound outof all places from NY. I know that nothing stays the same, and Bam says this too, but the music coming from there, are not 'rocking' there more like 'go to sleep' music. WHAT HAPPEND??

  • 92-96 was the second golden era

  • The second golden era? LOL...hahahahahahaha...don't make me laugh. The mid 90's was the beginning of corporate america co-opting the music. This is when this current generation handed the keys over to corporate america & let them dictate what's in & out. Second golden era..please...

  • damn fo reals hiphop is dying da only thing keepin it live iz da underground.. i mean im only 16 but damn i rather listen to music form da 80's ne day i grew up lisinin to dat shyt cuz of my parents they neva lisined to new shyt i grew up wit music fro da 80's even though i wasnt even alive then ha

  • which is the track og the minute 4?

  • Cash be from around the way back in the day like 1979-80 from what i recall Champlost and Ogontz ave. Bottomside Summerville and still killin' it.

  • CA$H rules everything around me! All you young guns better respect the man who held it down waaay before you got yer first turntables. Thanks Ninjando for the clip.

  • Since when has this generation had an appreciation for anything "orginal"? Their a generation who specializes in remaking & biting. Their ignorance is due to their lack of history about the music & culture itself. That's what's hurting the music these days. I mean if you think about it, the core audience of (c)rap music these days, are the only people who know the least about the music or the culture... How jacked up is that?...

  • this generation you're talking about is still young fully loaded w/ pocket money to support the thrive of junk albums, plus there's really nothing good coming out in the industry these days except heavy marketing materials,so it's a bad cycle.

Unlike the 90's the golden renaissance period.

  • Sorry, but the 90's wasn't the golden anything. That was the beginning of the end. The golden era is from about '85 - maybe 90 (I'll give you that one year). The reason nothing good is coming out these days, is due to this generation's ignorance. Music reflects the mentality of the generation who buy & support it.

  • the golden era is 83 to 94... you are forgetting a tribe called quest, main source, de la soul, pete rock's main ingredient, Lord finese, Big L, NAS.... 83 was the start of the new school. the term old school was a term used by run dmc...Wu Tang....

  • Ok gmlsee...I can agree with that to an extent, at least the beginning of the "golden era" starting around '83. But me turning 32 this october, i seem to remember around '93-'94 (Damn..that was my freshman year in college)being the beginning of the end..the precursor to all of this garbage we see today.

  • Ha ha ha your arguement is pointless because A. its never gunna be the 80s again and B. anyone from my era could say the same thing about yours so move on and bump your "old" music somewhere else

  • Typical...

  • Most music genres that didn't start out popular and became popular are like this. Still, there are people in the genre today that create music that is, at least, more creative or has more thought put into the lyrics and instrumentals than mainstream hip hop. You just have to find these people through the internet or other ways; rather than through the t.v. and radio. Plus, there is a limit on what one can do with their music and still have it be considered hip-hop, at least to most people.

  • "Plus, there is a limit on what one can do with their music and still have it be considered hip-hop, at least to most people. "

    Who made it this way?

"This" Generation & the assembly line artists they support that's who!!..

Rappers & Labels just "Supply" a demand. Music will ALWAYS be a reflection of it's current Gate Keepers, U want someone to hold accountable for the music's current state, "START" with them..It reflects their ignorant mentality, that's why they love & support it..

  • It was great to see Scratchcon dedicate time to the originators. Cash did his thing!!!
