What a wonderful story, such amazing skill and talent. I have recently taken up the needle myself in an attempt to learn how to make such beautiful things. I have many that my great grandmother and great great grandmother made.
I LOVE THIS. But wasn't it Queen Mary who also was a very active patron of the school? I enjoy thinking of any ladies working on their projects, maybe just for their own homes, and those treasures being passed from generation to generation, those are so much more meaningful than anything money can buy.
What an interesting clip. Nice to know the old skills are being kept alive. All I can say is these people have ten times more patience than I've got!
