I've never been on a cruise, but would have been satisfied on a Carnival cruise or some other cruise line. Until, that is, I saw this ship. The Queen Mary 2 is an ocean liner. Now I must experience a voyage on her! Anything less won't do now. :-(

Southampton... I believe that's the port where Mini Coopers set sail from to the U.S. and other ports around the world. I drive one here in California and love it! :-)
I saw her when coming back from the IOW to Southampton UK on the ferry, Boy is she big close up. Ship Lovers, take a trip to Southampton at 5pm on a Sunday, all the big ones go out around then.
very nice! thank you so much for sharing. miss the bay area. the east coast is freezing right now. good to see the ol' Mother Pacific in a beautiful moment, welcoming in that HUGE ship. spent a couple of years sailing on the bay w/my folks, and the scale of that against the little sailboats gave good perspective on its true size.
Yeah, I wish I had thought to bring it -- funny thing is I had it in the car! But it was so crazy what with parking and the crowds that I forgot to grab it. Thanks for your note!
Nice to see this from different angles. Wish I could have let you borrow my tripod, handholding a camera for that long of time is hard, and when you zoom in, well you know, it kinda accentuates the wobbles.. very soothing music. Meditative.
The Queen Mary is haunted some people say... I saw it once but I havent been on a tour so idk... that would be sad if it really was.

I Love this ship.
i plan to do a 107 day around the world in this but they substitute it for the QV but still all the Cunard Queens are beutiful
