  • @lovegirl4u18 Please understand, that I don't have tutorials for EACH of my artworks. Most of my pop up sculptures are designed to be single, unique pieces. But I think, that I can help you anyways. On my facebook fanpage, I published a list with more than 75 tutorials and some book recommendations. Please search for "Peter.Dahmen.Papierdesign" on Facebook. Best, Peter

  • @lovegirl4u18 There's an out-of-print book called "Pop-up A Manual of Paper Mechanisms" from Duncan Birmingham that you can download from the net. There's another one from the same author called "Pop up design and paper mechanics" that you can buy at amazon.

  • @CommentsSurvey U welcome. If you're an eMule user I can pass you the link for download for the first book.

Bitte schau doch gelegentlich auf meiner Homepage (peterdahmen.de) oder in meinem Facebookprofil (Peter.Dahmen.Papierdesign). Dort werde ich die Neuheiten auf jeden Fall präsentieren.

  • Amazing. I LOVE it! :D

  • how to do something like this ?

  • it sooo nice and fascinating. the best ive ever seen on its category.

dude, sincerely, you dont have to tell the step by step process on this piece of art. its your work, your name and you have to protect trade secrets...

  • Amazing n inspiring !! Really Unique. I wish it shd be unique 4 ever. Tx 4 sharing the video.

  • paper pop-up peacock...ACHOOO!!! sorry...im allergic to alliteration...ACHOOO!!!

  • @itspaulgustavson That's funny. Thank you for this comment. It was not my intention to make a witty title. Is it my fault, that the names of the bird, the material and the genre all start with the same letter? If I named the video "card made of thin cardboard, showing a blue bird fanning out its tail in a three dimensional effect", wouldn THAT be be a foolish title? Sometimes it's clumsy to *avoid* alliterations :-) Best, Peter

  • @DesignPD Hey Peter.....Can u Please put up a Tutorial......I wanna learn this.....!! :)

  • @BiGGeSTLiTTLeFaN The peacock is a pop up, that I designed to be a single piece – But I invite you to my facebook fanpage, were you can find a list with more than 75 free tutorials for pop up cards. Please search for "Peter.Dahmen.Papierdesign" on Facebook. Best, Peter

  • @DesignPD Thanks.......!! :)

  • @itspaulgustavson Toby Turner??? :D

  • @42JohnnySmith Nope Paul Gustavson! didnt cha read the name?

  • @itspaulgustavson Oh ok. It's just that toby Turner is also allergic to alliteration. :)

  • Total respect for keeping on with the "one of a kind" bit, however I would think with all the interest that you have of people wanting to know how you do this, that you could come up with a few "open use" designs to share. I think your art is beatiful though, it's just a shame your not teaching tecniques without sacrificing your original one of designs.

  • @AnneGirlCarrots I already have made a tutorial, you can find it in my youtube channel. And I will do more tutorials in the future. Until then, I invite you to my facebook page, were you can find a lot of links to tutorials for pop up cards from other artists. Please search for "peter.dahmen.papierdesign" on facebook. Best, Peter

  • boring
