This is so weird, because the distances in Israel aren't as big as in USA, so we just buy all this stuff when we get to our accomodations.

Last year I lived in the dorms, it was a very nice room, with a small balcony and a tree outside my window.

This year I live in a nice appartment about 6 minutes away from my university.

Which laptop are you getting? I'm thinking about buying a laptop as well, I thought about a Dell one.

Omg no A/C?? I would die! lol of course I goto UT so we kinda need A/C or else we would die of heat. Congrats again on going off to college! I just finished my freshmen year and it was awesome =3 Oh and yeah I totally got most of my college stuff from Target. My advice is to be careful with 6 and 5 hr courses. French 604 (6 hrs) was freaking hard and seemed like it would never end!

I lived in the dorms in college, and it was so much fun. Sometimes it seemed like a pain, but now I miss it and I know that I will never have another experience like it. You DEFINATELY want shower shoes if you have to share showers with anyone else. You also want to take some DVDs and things to entertain friends in your room. I never partied, went to bars, or got drunk... and I had a TON of fun in college (and don't have regrets). Stay smart and be careful!

you might want to get a laundry hamper for ur dirty clothes. i dont know how ur dorm is set up but mine had a closet and i kept the hamper in there. don't forget ur alarm clock and a giant desk calender is really good. u can keep it on ur desk to make sure u remember all ur important deadlines.

Good stuff - best of luck in college! I just graduated from college myself, and I'm beginning to miss it a LOT.

I don't have any specific tips, but enjoy college while you're in it, cause after that (and any post-grad schooling if you're doing that) real life will come a knockin'. I'm still not answering the door here. ;)

Make do with whatcha got, get involved, meet lots of new peeps, do some work once in awhile, and have fun!!
