The Weiβritter looks like a very interesting model kit. I've been trying to find one for sale but I can only purchase one online and the going price seems pretty high.
In my experience with Kotobukiya's Super Robot Wars/Taisen kits, the earlier kits seem to be less stable/solid. There are also reports of poor quality polycaps.
I have the 1/144 R-1, R2 Powered, and ART-1. The R-1 is a very loose model, released in late 2006. The R-2, which was released a few months later, is a very stable model. The ART-1, which came out early 2009, is a very solid model kit and a vast improvement over the R-1 and R-2 Powered.
Guiltaur is right on the money, everything that he mentions would be my experience with the Weiβritter as well. It actually has difficulty standing. What I have discovered though is that with several coats of paint (keep an eye out for the next video in series) it firms everything up nicely.
1:38 was invaluable ! That Koto had moulded multicoloured pieces together was a real turn offto me and to know they can be dismantled for painting is a huge relief.
Fantastic video I have a new respect for Kotobukiya now...

Cool. A new video series!
I liked the color separation gimmick. Neat feature!
Great involving the family into the hobby! An effective way of spending time with the 2.0s XD
Weißritter is my favorite original mecha from Super Robot Wars. Nice design, huge long-range gun, great flying abilities and speed.
