my boyfriend had to have this surgery. he said the pain didn't come til after all of the drugs & stuff wore off, because during the procedure, he was higher than a kite!

uhmm... my uncle had this surgery coz if he stayed ONLy with contacts his cornea would get so conical that his eye would LITERALLY pop out his eye orbit... so yeah he DID needed the tranplant.. the hard part is GETTING the corneas..
