  • Wow, at 5:30, love your tempo and timing! It drags beautifully!

  • It may be too slow played for most of You, but I really love it :)

  • I like your interpretation although it's a bit to slow for me at the beginning. You value every note, and that's the most important when playing Bach.

  • I like this alot, the chaconne works very well even when its played slow.

Your intepretation is musical, alot of variation in tempo and harshness/softness in sound. I really enjoyed listening to this.

  • I like it because it is slow and easy to listen to, those others play those thousands of 64th notes so fast they all run together.

  • This version sounds too 'careful'. He's not taking enough emotional liberty with the composition. It almost sounds like he's carry a bomb and doesn't want it to go off. Parkening plays a fantastic version.

  • Guitare classique - Kaori Muraji - Chaconne bwv 1004

  • who is playing?

  • wheres part 2 man, come on you play good, post another on with a video camera so we can see oyu also :)=

  • this version is almost perfect.

  • First of all, Bach played the organ and harpsicord because the piano had not been invented yet. Second, this piece was originally written for violin and it is probably the best piece of music ever written (although this version is played well under tempo).

  • piano... are you a jackass?

  • Sorry If I don't like this peice of music next time I'll either lie and say "wow what a beautiful peice" or shut my mouth up .... This is really funny how some cann't stand that others may differ. Enjoy what you like but please don't call others "jackass" it's unnecessary

  • shutting up sounds good....

  • You should have stayed with a rattle.

  • u are l33t i really like it

  • Sometimes, very few and far between, you come across things which seem to be from some better star than ours...

That Chaconne is one of those!

  • you couldn't have said it better,hermx0

  • very nice, great job, but just remember to tune better next time lol.

  • I love your interpretation of the piece.

  • Waiting for more videos. Hard to believe this was done after a five year hiatus. Why the layoff with all this talent. Well, judging from the performance here, maybe the rest was worth it!

  • I played from the violin score.

    I love chaccone too!

  • Well done! I am quite impressed! Do you have a score of this and if yes, can I get a copy? Or do you just play from the violin score?

This is my all time favourite piece of music. This is what I would take with me if I had to pick one piece of music before being shipped of to a remote island.

  • Excellent, gave me the thrill.

  • Just started practice this on my own.

So far I know only 1/10th by heart,

and with no education whatsoever it wil still take some time to learn all this.

I thought your play was fantastic nevertheless the small mistakes.

    Keep rockin' on!

  • Yes, I want to post the full version of chaccone.

This take was recorded more than 2 years ago, only for my private test. Before that, I had not touch the guitar for almost 5 years.

After this recording, I have practiced more for 2 yeas, but have not recorded anything yet. Now I want to record some tunes as soon as possible.

  • Well, it's a unique interpretation to be sure, and at a rather slower tempo than is usually heard.

Are you planning on posting the subsequent D major and D minor variations?

  • Very nice playing. Don't take people's comments too seriously. There are many here who just give negative comments to people (or backhanded compliments). Rarely will these people have their own videos available for critique.

  • That's true.

They are what i call wankers.

    Great playing.

  • thank you for your comment. yes, this take has too many wrong notes - through misreading, mistouch and mistuning etc. please wait for next version!

  • this is an enigma - it's very beautiful playing, but too many wrong notes. please go back to the original violin score, clean up the mistakes, and this will be spectacular.
