I have been there...Amalfi coast is a very winding road on moutainous terrain but the Italians know how to drive and I kept having to tell myself that to keep sane and enjoy the view. Yes the roads look like only one car should be on the road, but it was beautiful
I sing every day in amalfi, with over my shoulder two howler monkeys, they scream like crazy and I'll dance my Capuchin monkey (Marcel), and at one point she hits a tourist randomly biting the nose, shouting in his face ! and in the meantime eat fresh grapes, smiling and saying, oh I got there bunch.
Meh, I went there on part of my road trip around western Europe 2009 - I found it was nice... but........ awkward. I dunno... I wouldn't choose to go back there. My mother spoke fondly of it when she went there 30-40 years ago. I assume it has changed a fair bit since then. I stayed a night on the coast, wasn't a comfortable night, I must say. PS. Modern Pompii: Awful place. Slums, reminded me of the indian slums. - the ancient site is nice though (if you can get through to it alive)
So wonderful to visit, to swim and see even more nature, also visit the Cilento Coast just south of the amalfi coast where you will also be able to enjoy crystal clear water, kilometers of sandy beaches and all the amenities the anglo-saxons have come to expect.
amalfi moreover ravello was the most beautiful place i have ever been to. it really is picture perfect and the italians are lovely if not really awful starers, yes im pale get over it! but i would recommend anyone to go there

Italy is such an amazing country with plenty of culture....beautiful indeed...but many tourists should be better treated though.....I've met many tourist who complain the way they were mistread in the restaurants and other businesses.....and of course, many racists around the country.

I am Italian but from the Adriatic coast. I went to Amalfitan Coast once in December and the traffic was impossible to stand and tourists were undreds also in December. To move from ur house to the centre by car is a stress!

Naples has its problems with garbage and pollution, but it is also a city with many beautiful areas and buildings, a great story and nice people if you just take the time to get to know the ordinary people. I have been there...Amalfi coast is a very winding road on moutainous terrain but the Italians know how to drive and I kept having to tell myself that to keep sane and enjoy the view. Yes the roads look like only one car should be on the road, but it was beautiful

I sing every day in amalfi, with over my shoulder two howler monkeys, they scream like crazy and I'll dance my Capuchin monkey (Marcel), and at one point she hits a tourist randomly biting the nose, shouting in his face ! and in the meantime eat fresh grapes, smiling and saying, oh I got there bunch.

Meh, I went there on part of my road trip around western Europe 2009 - I found it was nice... but........ awkward. I dunno... I wouldn't choose to go back there. My mother spoke fondly of it when she went there 30-40 years ago. I assume it has changed a fair bit since then. I stayed a night on the coast, wasn't a comfortable night, I must say. PS. Modern Pompii: Awful place. Slums, reminded me of the indian slums. - the ancient site is nice though (if you can get through to it alive)

So wonderful to visit, to swim and see even more nature, also visit the Cilento Coast just south of the amalfi coast where you will also be able to enjoy crystal clear water, kilometers of sandy beaches and all the amenities the anglo-saxons have come to expect.

amalfi moreover ravello was the most beautiful place i have ever been to. it really is picture perfect and the italians are lovely if not really awful starers, yes im pale get over it! but i would recommend anyone to go there

Italy is such an amazing country with plenty of culture....beautiful indeed...but many tourists should be better treated though.....I've met many tourist who complain the way they were mistread in the restaurants and other businesses.....and of course, many racists around the country.

@SapatonaCarioca it is normal that we treat tourists bad. The first is beloved, the second is welcome, the 300th is ok, the 3.000.000th is starting to break the balls. I am Italian but from the Adriatic coast. I went to Amalfitan Coast once in December and the traffic was impossible to stand and tourists were undreds also in December. To move from ur house to the centre by car is a stress!

I enjoyed the video but was taken back by her comments about the noise and grime in Italy. I just returned from Italy several weeks ago and can tell you Italy is no different from any country I have visited; Britain is Italy without the scenery, history and cuisine. Naples has its problems with garbage and pollution, but it is also a city with many beautiful areas and buildings, a great story and nice people if you just take the time to get to know the ordinary people. This video is actually one of the most superficial descriptions I've ever seen by both the Amalfi Coast and Naples. Maybe she should go out of the car a little more often?

Amalfi è bella ed è uno dei miei posti preferiti in Italia! La vista è meravigliosa, e le spiagge sono molto sereno. Le persone sono molto gentili e il cibo è delizioso! Questo è un luogo che tutti dovrebbero visitare un giorno! :D
