  • does tre always look high? haha great song and video

  • spike is the man! make more movies!!

  • The first time i saw this video back in the day i was hooked on it. This is pure genius!

  • see now thats art within art ...willing to learn a freaken song backwords lol CRAZY stuff!!!

  • the young Spike Jonez reminds me of Panda Bear from Animal Collective.

  • Where did you get this mini documentary from?

  • so creative. I'm impressed. And the song is sick

  • They rap the song backwards, now thats talent!

  • why is this better quality than the actual music video

  • @dwaynematthew89 Totaly, man. We can say this is a piece of art. Nowadays is just guys saying stupid things in lyrics, trying to prove they are a better person because they have money and showing a lot of bitches on the video as everyone never saw this before... Pharcyde is forever!

  • Nice cool to see how this vid was mad. Definitely one of my favs along with runnin & y.

  • i dont get how they didnt get a award for like best video back in the day, they learned their lyrics reverse and most videos today are dull; there are only a few artists who put this much creativity in their videos.

  • @junkasai101 So true, "LabcabinCalifornia" was a tight album too. I guess they were tired by the time they did the video for "She Said". Wasn't as innovative or creative as the other vids("Runnin'" and "Drop").

  • FUCKING AWESOME!!!

  • spike jonze is the man

  • So glad I finally found out how it was done. Amazingly executed!

  • This is fucking genius

  • This was recorded in 1996, not 95.

  • Nowadays all the videos are about Selling coke, fucking girls and having a fat sack of money. It`s gay props to the Pharcyde for being so real.

  • @russskates26 what are you talking about? Rap was definitely about everything you just said in 1995. The streets were about everything you just said in 1995 because thats where hip hop was coming from. Its just that then rap was more authentic. In fact it was Mafioso era in rap guy. Get your facts str8.

  • @Bonersoup183 I said nowadays.... Not in 1995 READ. I bet ive been listening to Hip Hop longer than you stfu.

  • @russskates26 i think u were in an arguement with my brother. i left myself signed and he probably didnt realize. i dont even listen to hip hop look at my favorites.

  • @Bonersoup183 Listen to OLDER Hip Hop it has a message.

  • spike jonze = genius

  • W'sup Tre? This was, and still is the Dopest HipHop video ever recorded. Peace from Cool Juan V

  • Man, oh man. How innovative! I was blown away by this video. I often wondered how it was done. They deserve all the props fpr taking their craft so seriously, and excuting it well. This was waaaaaay ahead of it's time, and yet I have seen nothing to compare it to! AWESOME!

  • Love it

  • One Of The Greatest Videos Period. . .

  • Respond to this video... pharcyde are the best hip hop group ever keep doin yo shit n fuck that commercial shit old skool forever

  • damn this was back in 1995

    this video is sooo crazy

  • Good post who wouldve know they had a linguist.

  • We had a lot of fun doing this video for sure. This how you are suppose to be creatively about what ever you do. After looking at this clip I realized... Wow... I guess we did study harder than I thought. I also felt and like all we needed was on more day to study and it would have been seamless. :)

    SLIMKID3

  • @TreMartha I had no idea what all went into that video.. thats nuts! Still one of my favorite songs ever!

  • @TreMartha yo Tre, big fan of the Pharcyde ya'll did y'all thing making this video

  • @TreMartha SlimKid3! Cheers for the comment. Glad I could help you remember how hard you worked on that vid with this upload. Maximum respect for you and the rest of the crew. Hard to believe that was 14 years ago... Still as fresh as it was then and one of my favourite music videos ever! Keep up the good work with your future endeavours Tre. Peez.

  • @TreMartha Hey Tre just thought I'd drop a line to say that you guys did an amazing job and that I did, still, and will enjoy your music for many years as it is timeless ;) Keep up the good work bro', peace out.

  • big shout outs to @TreMartha from all the way out here in South Africa and to the idiot who stole my copy of Labcabincalifornia...I don't blame you.

  • honestly, in the video, there's very few parts where i notice the lips sync up with the lyrics, i think they could've studied half as much and had the same final product, but it's good to see that kind of dedication at least.
