Here's the formula:

For every foot of elevation change from you to the hole:

Add one foot per inch of elevation change (uphill putt)

Take off one foot per inch of elevation change

(downhill putt)

Example: 8 foot putt, elevation change of 2inches uphill: Hit a 10 foot putt.

How do you always end up getting over 100%? Even when i keep on pressing A I always end up getting around 92%... Any advice?

You need to finish your backswing all the way to the top.

Also to max it out 10 button taps are required in a very short period of time. Just click the a (r-b) ten times as fast as you can.

It's all very well having a guide for simple settings. Put it on tour settings - no putt preview, gale force winds and lightning fast greens.

hey im thinking about getting tiger woods 09, but how do you hit your shots over 100%? im kinda new to the series so yeah.

You have three choices:

1. Tap "A"

2. Tap "LB"

3. Alternate between A and LB

I just hit A because for me it keeps me accurate. I'm not worried about getting 121% every time.

Tap A or LB in you backswing for a more powerful shot - I tap A aswell because LB is over the Left Stick which is what you swing with so accuracy goes off.

here's a good tip for power.. it actually only takes you pressing the a button about 8 times to get full power.. timing is key to power up.. if you press to slowly the power meter will not climb.. to fast and you will need to keep pressing it to keep the power up.. so you want the ball to be full the same time you start your downswing.. practice this and you will not even look at your players swing.. you can swing by looking at the power meter instead..
