that truck drive sucks, swung that far away from the hoe and took him almost a min to get back under, and the Operator of the Hoe is Slower than shit my god if we had ppl like this working for our Coal Company they would be Fired
never in my life have I seen a EX5500 Hoe and Im around this shit everyday look up Ex5500 move
moved an almost complete EX5500 in Ft mcmurray Alberta cab was taken off and 18 links in the track plus counter weight total weight of that move was 928,000lbs
lo que tiene de grande lo tiene de lenta, yo soy operador y se lo que digo, para el que no sea ,pues que se asombre. A!! y no subo lo que yo trabajo porque yo voy ha trabajar no grabar.

an ex 5500 is a shovel only if its set up like a shovel the bucket turned around digging forward and up this is a hoe with a hoe u pull back to you with a shovel you shove away from you i work around this stuff and operate this stuff everyday
man, so many neg. comments. This is big equipment. people open their mouths with no knowledge of the field. Looks good to me guys. wish I could run some equipment that big. cat 330 as big as I go.
Used to thing that this was an easy job until I stopped to watch a guy in a digger with a mechanical claw one day. He was lifting car size rocks and building a river-retaining wall. Doing a better job than I could have in the garden with small rocks.
Big kids playing with big toys in the bag sandbox. Looks like fun. :D In all seriousness, that is probably 10x harder then what it looks like. Takes great skill to operate huge machinery like this.
LOL... Always a lot of people that are SO much better operators than the ones in the videos... Show us your videos! Show us your own work. Let the rest of us enjoy your fantastic performances. While I wait for it, I will just enjoy the huge machines here.
By the way; How can you judge their work in this video, as long as you cannot see the ground that they operate the trucks on?
Totally agree with Paddles, a good haul truck driver can tell right were the shovel op is going to want him, thus he will be in position waiting on the shovel....any time that bucket is full and not moving...money is being burned.
chaghar try going to ur local main roads department or police station they may issue the licence or tell u who can and i wud hate to reverse that truck cuz u cant see shit
well, by the looks of it, he was reversing down a ramp, possibly not very wide, tell that by the fact that the other truck did not go down and wait, and he also had to hook it under the digger bucket on his blindside. Add to the fact that it looks like it's raining, hell, I'D take my time reversing down that ramp.
You dont have to have any kind of license to drive these things as far as i know, But if it is coal stripping job you must have your surface mining card showing you have had safety training. We have used them on road jobs quite a bit.

There are few things like heavy machinery to get the arm chair experts making their inane comments.

wow, the worst display of operating from truckie and digger op i've ever seen. Where is this place? Obviously production isn't a concern
