  • With all due respect, Virashaivism is a distinct religion. Basavanna rejected many features of Hinduism like polytheism, casteism, male chauvinism, fatalism and feudalism. Virashaiva faith is a revolutionary faith meant to bring about an utopian and ideal society and it is STRICTLY MONOTHEISTIC!! We believe in and worship ONE GOD AND ONLY ONE GOD - Lord Shiva - and none else!!

  • Great Video! I am a Tamil Virashaiva and I am proud to see that our Kannada Virashaiva brothers are keeping our glorious faith alive. Basavanna along with Guru Nanak and Buddha were the greatest religious figures that India has ever produced.
