Resort where you can have a swim along the beach or early morning you can watch sun rise from the East.Then at nite time you n your love one can have a barbecue with fresh fish, fresh 'sotong/undang' etc.at the beach or may be you just stay enjoying fresh air from Sulu Sea. I think that is all what I can say about Lahad Datu a boring town. You boring, but I'm not, because this is my place where my life histroy began. I love Lahad Datu and I love Sabah! So,please do visit L.Datu. MKiang, MDLDS.

And again a part from that in everyday of our life, I think Lahad Datu is considerable place where row fish and vegetables consider are very cheap. As such it helps a lot to the low incomes in Lahad Datu. Ya, Lahad Datu is a boring place. But you can still enjoy staying where you can spend your time to Danum Valley, Tabin Resort where you can see wildlife and most green tropical rains rorest. Or to Felda....
rain forests - 'Danum Valley' and wildlife that some of them can't be found in other place like Sumatran rhinos, pygmy elephants, deers, mouse deers etc. that most can be found at Tambin Resort. A part from that Lahad Datu has one of the biggest oil palm in Malaysia like Felda Plantation, IOI etc. together with small 'kebun of kelapa sawit'. You just drive down from Sandakan, Tawau and Tungku roads, there you can see all 'kelapa sawit' along the road side. So even Lahad Datu is a boring......
Never mind people may say that Lahad Datu district is a boring place especially for those who love entertainment very much. But for me who born in Lahad Datu (like people say original Bumi Putra of Lahad Datu) so proud being Lahad Datu resident. I don't care much whether we are boring or not, or we have entertainment to enjoy or not, for me all those things give no kick to us. Even a boring town far to the east cost of Sabah, but we are still glad that we still have a very virgin tropical
other then having alot of trees here and there, and a low crime rate, unless you count petty stealing as major crime, it is most for people that enjoy a very peaceful boring live....
Mayb it's not a place to play around, but it's a great and peaceful place to live.. It's still a developing city, dont underestimate it. People, appreciate your hometown!
