Amazing video, but I have one question. Since when there are aurora boreal in Japan? I thought they only existed in the northern/southern most parts of the globe, such as Iceland, Alaska, Antarctica, New Zealand and some others. Apart from extremely rare occasions they appear in other countries once in a lifetime but I didn't know they existed in Japan

Beautiful Excellent work.. But some of the video was not shot in JAPAN, pre say.. There are no PENGIUNS in Japan and the ice bergs they showed are in ANTARCTICA !!!! I guess the BBC was trying to show one of the 4 Japanese research stations on Antarctica.. But that is not JAPAN or does Japan own these stations!! I am just wondering why the added them to this video???

You can see them at Apple's website just do a search for BBC Motion Gallery Japan. But you can only save them to your HD if you have Quicktime Pro or have Quicktime X (Snow Leopard)
