Thank you, because of this comment and others I have cancelled my appointment and am going to a hospital. I have had nothing but trouble wiht my teeth and the dentists in Taiwan, nightmares, so I know what you mean darlin! migranes, TMJ, TN and tinnitus I think are all related. No more clinics, anyone out there, go to hospitals that have all the right equipement, it may be more expensive but in the end you will save time and money! How are you doing now?

Who was the dentist that worked on your implants? Is hard to say that all doctors and dentists in Thailand are that bad. Because the Thais have to go to the dentist too. So let us know the name of the dentist so we all can avoid him/her.

I went there about 5 years ago to have a teeth whitening consultation, and before I knew it they'd strapped me into a chair and blasting away. Where was the consultation? Completely money orientated, geared towards ripping off foreigners. The results I got were poor to non existant. Anywhere else is better than Silom Dental.

wow i just watched this because my friend had some stuff done in lebanon... same thing basically happening to her right now. i hope everything gets sorted for you because that kind of gross negligence should not be tolerated. especially in a country that is so strict with other laws... ie drugs.... have some drugs they exectute you.... ruin peoples lives and nothing happens... unfair

This is a great warning to anyone who goes to Thailand to have any dental work done as it sounds really cheap at the time,but when things go bad you have a some real problems on your hands.

It seems inexpensive at first, but when you give nearly $25.000 and then have to come up with another $40.000 to fix the mess. you are indeed in a mess. It's amazing to me that SILOM DENTAL has responded to me very few times. When I first sent them proof of their incredibly butchered job--that was over two years ago! Any proper dentist could see from the CT scan that the implants were in my sinus cavity...

I guess they believe they can take peoples' money, and if the work they do turns out hazardly wrong, they just sweep you under their big high-class carpet. Suggestions are gratefully accepted. @kayajoyful You know many times i thought about getting crowns done on my teeth in Thailand as it cost around $1.300 in Melbourne but i'm just scared that something would go wrong as unlucky with many things,and i could not stand my frends saying i told you so!

There must be some good places in Thailand but i really think you need to go on a holiday first just to see that it's everything you want it to be before you let them put there hands on you or change hands with money.

please let us know on this post WHEN Silom Dental will refund you the money. they already reacted to this post by posting some films of some people saying what fantastic work they do. So i guess this message is to them: we are not stupid... and beware of the power of social networks to make or brake buisnesses like yours

Good to know and fair warning. Hopefully they will do the right thing and pay for your procedures to repair their mistakes. They should immediately refund all of your money paid to them for this atrocious work.

Wow PJ - I am Soooo glad you posted this. I need dental surgery too. Now I know where NOT to go. Silom should refund your money so you can get teeth.
