Love the song and poetry......and its connection with the story of a guy who fights his war, and give up suicide BUT, why add the cheesy lipstick chorus at the end to entice some sex appeal........you guys are original, stick to the continuity of your ideas, don't side track......the girl, lipstick chorus and execution of it, is great, but it had no connection to the poetry, story of the guy and the song, therefore seems out of place and a cheap thrill, overall great song, thanks.
@shabbirkazmi Just like they showed the lead singer in the beginning, they showed the chorus singing girl in the end. It wasn't a "cheap thrill." And just because she chose to wear make up for the video doesn't mean squat.
@shabbirkazmi yes i was just thinking of it, when i was listening this. of course, Faiz sahab's poetry is for poor and oppressed men, it should not be violated with this sort of valgure act
Really a talented band.Laal is among the few music bands in Indian subcontinent bands ,which tries to build a strong connection between music and daily struggles of common man against Capitalist system. Their music restores faith on humanity and gives us a hope to struggle for a better tomorrow.
I am expecting a song on India Pakistan peace from them. I believe that their music has a great power to make a strong appeal for peace.
A very creative, sensational, inspiring, and insightful piece of work... This is truly awesome. I wonder how he recorded the song, because the drum beats seem computerized... Been in search of such a software myself... But it altogether is really awesome!
A very insightful video, especially the class difference between the singer and characters, made the song very clear about the hypocrisy of the system. The rich themselves sing about problems of the poor.
Shab e Gam to maloom anhi lekin Porkistan bohat buri balaa hey. shuker karoo kh Faiz nature ki mistake se porkistani kehlaaya, warna tum logon ke paas to gaane ko bhi kuch na hota..... :p
@TonyMr59 pakistan me rehte ho aor others ko fuckin life ki bad dua date ho! yeh life tumhare liey aor tum iss fukin life ke liey ho. chill in your fuckin hell named pakistan.
Good effort, good video but not as good as your previous songs. Well, I have so much attachment with this kalam of Faiz ahmed Faiz and I am so addicted of Tina sani version. I love the way she delivered the ghazal.
Great SonG`
