  • @JuicyDBASE @latterdaysaint4rever

Well just see who goes to hell

  • well i can defff say that they look nothing like the garments we wear, ppl wil always assume but will never know the truth cos they look in the wrong place. im not sure if both of these actors are suppose to be wearing garments but if she is then it is too short. the garments are to cover our bodies. and hers does not . lol soooooo wrong. but good try guys.

  • @latterdaysaint4rever Are you suggesting no one knows what garments look like? lol anyone can buy them on ebay and in Salt Lake City. Not difficult, they arent secret like your church likes to think they are haha same with those silly handshakes and voodooo type mason stuff you do in the temple

  • @2wives1prophet yh i am saying that, cos i know for a fact that what you guys think are garments are not. but you can keep beleiving what you like. cos i know the truth as i wear them and you dont.

  • @latterdaysaint4rever Where in the Bible does it say that we need some underwear to protect us? Jesus is the only protection true Christians need, the LDS without Jesus must wear some kind of protection I am assuming? Why are they such a seceret? when did Jesus ever have us keep secerets from other Christians?

  • When did Jesus ever have us keep secrets from other Christians? (cont)

"And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them." Luke 5:14

"He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God. And he straitly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing;"

    Luke 9:20-21

  • @JediLDS None of these verses say to keep secrets Jesus was just timing things for His Crucifixion. Jesus never said the keep these things from people just not to go out and publicize what happened yet. You see there is a big difference from just asking people not to go out and spread what happened and from saying these are secret rituals that no one can know unless they are LDS.

    The Bible is so great!

  • @2wives1prophet You are incorrect in stating that anyone can by them in Salt Lake City--only members with a current temple recommend is allowed to purchase them.

Furthermore, it's not the church who is claiming that the garments are "secret", but you anti-Mormonism types. Scroll up. Poster Exocus314IAM claims that they are secret.

  • Mormon garmies have little symbols on them

  • Just go online and you can see what they look like. I bet j.smith didn't count on the Internet to expose his b.s.

  • I will tell you people who don`t understand, and Hate us :( those are not Mormon garments. Their are always going to be people who don`t like us. If you are going to make fun of us, get it write, and please who talks like that?

  • Always follow the money. Magical underwear is nonsense, find out who makes it, who sells it, who profits from it. We may be surprised

  • If they have to work hard so they can get to heaven why did Jesus die? How about when he told the thief on the cross he would see him in heaven? He's Jesus he can't lie! And the thief didn't say ok I'll hop down and do all of these works! This Is a false religion! No not religion it's a cult!

  • @FunkeFresh480 we dont have to do loads of stuff to get into heaven. not like the way you are putting it. in the bible it says that to return to god we have to keep his commandments. no unclean things can enter his kingdom.

we beleive in folllowing christs teachings that is how we can return home. i dont buy myself a place in heaven, i just do everything i can to be a good person, thats not doing anything wrong. i just do what is right according to christs teachings.

  • @Exodus314IAM The bible says that if you are not baptized (born of water), then you will not see the kingdom of heaven. Seems pretty clear to me.

  • @JediLDS John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

Here Jesus says one must be "born of water." This does not refer to baptism, but to physical birth. Being born of the spirit is the same as being born-again; when we are born-again we are "baptized," that is "immersed," in the Holy Spirit. This is what is required to see the Kingdom of God, not to be saved.

  • @Exodus314IAM "This does not refer to baptism, but to physical birth."

The Bible does not support that. Jesus was baptized by immersion, and one of the last things he told his disciples to do before he ascended into heaven for the last time was to "Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." (Mark 16:15-16) He that believeth AND IS BAPTIZED shall be SAVED." Very clear meaning.

  • @JediLDS Do not get me wrong, yes Baptism is important to show who you are, it is an outward exprestion of our inward conversion. As for Mark 16 you are correct you believeth thus you will be batized but as you quoted who is damned? the non-baptized? nope just "HE THAT BELIEVETH NOT" please read the full context it will show you a lot!

God is Great and has given us His word through Jesus and the Prophets in the Bible alone!

  • @Exodus314IAM "He that believeth AND IS BAPTIZED shall be SAVED." The verse clearly sets TWO conditions for being saved: believing, and being baptized. Just because the word "baptized" is omitted from the "he that believeth not" condition, does not mean that baptism is not necessary for salvation. If that is the case, then the verse is contradicting itself. So, if those who are baptized are saved, but those who are not, are not damned, then what IS their condition? They are certainly not saved.

  • @JediLDS Yes this is why Christians use the Bible as a whole to get full clearification my friend and we trust that Gods word is full and accurate it is called faith. So when we have questions like this one brings up we go to the scriptures to clear it up not just say thats it. (Romans 3:28-30; 4:5; 5:1; 9:30; 10:4; 11:6; All of Galatians 2&3) so all these are wrong just because you take this verse out of context?

  • @Exodus314IAM

Romans 3:28 - "Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law."

James 2:24 - "Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only."

Seems as if there is a battle of the verses here. One says "justified by faith", and the other says that we are justified by works and NOT by faith only. Contradictions like this are not uncommon in the bible, but that does not bother me, because I accept that the bible is not perfect.

  • @JediLDS James 2 in verse 1 "My brethren" so who is James talking to the lost? or the saved followers of Jesus? so to the saved is faith good enough or must we show this conversion by how we act around the lost?

  • @Exodus314IAM ... I didn't take anything out of context...just quoted the verse as it was written and which specifically states TWO conditions for salvation: BELIEF, and BAPTISM. It's right there in black and white. How anyone can just ignore AND IS BAPTIZED, I'll never know.

Simple logic will tell you that a person who does not believe, will also not be baptized. That's why baptism is not mentioned in the verse when it makes the statement about who will be damned. Crystal clear, in my opinion.

  • @JediLDS Ok so then in the verse you are pointing out in Mark 16:15-16 what are we "that believeth" mean? I will give you a hint in the first verse 15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the GOSPEL to every creature." what are we to believe in? what do the LDS say "as long as it is translated correctly"? So do you believe or is it not trustworthy?

  • @FunkeFresh480 i am fully aware and very grateful that MY saviour died for me, i know why he died on the chirst. Do you? i mean really know and understand what he did for YOU. cos i dont think anyone outside the lds church fully understands what he did and why. you just use christs name to get what you want form the world.

  • Lol!!!! Seriously?? Really?? Redone and still depicted wrong...sir with all my heart I can truly say even though you put down others religions, you are a child of god and you are loved..pleas find a healthier hobby, hate breads sickness

  • I just don't get why Mormons follow another book other than the bible. To say God came back to Joseph smith to make and change something's in the bible implys God made mistakes the first time round. God does not make mistakes everything he ever wanted us to know and ever know is in the bible.

  • @elesha76 Joseph smith did not make changes to the bible, he only added to the word of God with the Book of Mormon. Tons of people think so many things of Mormonism because they are getting information from the wrong source. Why not get it from the horses mouth (mormon.org & lds.org). No he does not make mistakes, but God has different dispensations with different events that occur when God feels it appropriate for our benefit, not according to our time table but his.

  • @JuicyDBASE i Know he did not make changes to the bible. But Joseph smith made another book full of things that are not in the Bible, So that is like saying God got it wrong and forgot some parts or changed his mind on others so I better go back and get this guy to re writte a new book. It does not sit well with me at all.

  • @elesha76 I can completely understand why people feel this way. In my opinion and beliefs concerning this. God does not change, but humanity, his children do. We do everything in the world to screw things up, even if we don't mean too. And this is why I believe that doctrines are brought forth in our day in age (e.g. The Book of Mormon, ect.) because we needed it for our time. People change how the world is, and so what was right for people in moses day might not be right for people in our day.

  • @elesha76 "And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen." John 21:25 The Bible is not perfect, though we (LDS) still accept it as God's word. The Book of Mormon tells the history of a group of people who lived in the Americas from about 600BC to 420AD, and of God's dealings with them. It is a second witness for Jesus Christ.

  • @JediLDS And to say the Bible is not perfect. I could never imagen saying that.

  • @elesha76 There is nothing wrong in knowing that the bible has flaws...it was written by and translated by men. If the Bible were perfect, there would be only one version of it, instead number there are now. Add to that the fact that the bible has been translated into over 450 languages, and you see why perfection would be impossible to maintain.

  • Every Mormon I have know are lovely nice people. If wearing those garments helps them remember and stay focused in their faith who cares.

  • It is sad when people have such little respect for others and their beliefs.

  • @peaceliberty4all I believe you are brainswahed. Do you respect that?

  • @wmc233 I don't really see that as a belief but as judging a total stranger so no I don't really respect people who judge others just because they don't agree with them or understand.

  • @peaceliberty4all Exactly. Vice-versa, Ditto etc etc. I can say I don't recognize this belief, it is a delusion and deserves no respect as well. Again, the point is just because it is a relgious belief someone how it deserves some special treatment and respect, I disagree with your apparent worldview.

  • @wmc233 Does this mean that whatever you believe in, different form of christianity, agnostic, ect ect what have you, that if I don't recognize that as a belief then I can say your belief does not deserve respect either? I disagree with your point of view, but I am not going to disrespect your beliefs. People needs to try and treat each other with equality and a mutual form of respect, with that I think society would be more civil and all together get a long at least a little better.

  • @wmc233 "special respect"? LDS are not asking for that. How about "tolerance for others beliefs"? Do you think you could show a little of that? Jesus said to "love thy neighbor", and he didn't put any exceptions on it. One can "love thy neighbor" but still disagree with his beliefs.

  • I will truely Pray for your Souls.

  • @86devilheadz You say 'pray', but you look more like you are pouting. You should leave your religion. Your acting like a child. Poor baby.

  • @windigo77 Thank you for the judgement, I'll take your words,,,well really for nothing. Considering that you have no idea what I look like. I think you meant "sound like" And as far as my religion goes, I am not afilliatied with any church or religion except MY OWN BELIEFS, and I'm not changeing my beliefs for someone named windigo77 (77 is that your IQ, or your age?) besides that, thanx for the comments. I'll be sure to take them into deep consideration;)

  • @86devilheadz LOL U Mad?

  • It is God's will that all of you sinners/haters must be judged for your sins when the day of judgement comes. In my eyes it is wrong to hate, I will admit this video is very cheeesy. To judge any Religion over a movie means that you basically have the mentality of a twelve year old girl "Trillidotia". GROW UP and learn to except FAITH in the LORD for what it is. If you dont like my comment, maybe you should have thought your own comment through, to any other haters reading this or pre-posted.

  • THIS VIDEO IS IN POOR TASTE

  • @scottwins2 Not as poor as your comment. The taste in my mouth after reading it was almost as abominable as the taste after I read your Book of Mormon.

  • @windigo77 Sure it was. I'm just as sure that you read the Book of Mormon cover-to-cover. Really. Cross my heart and hope to die.

  • get over yourself, get a life stop wasting your time obsessing over other people

  • What's the big to-do about what Mormon magic undies look like?? Hey, I mean it's all goofy as all get-out, but so what??

  • Inaccurate? What exactly do your garments look like? Do they look different from your father's? Your grandfather's? Are you aware of how much Mormon doctrines, practices, and other sacred things have changed over the generations?

  • ok...you have sacred underwear. explain it anyway you want. sacred underwear = complete BS.

  • Chick was hot...what was his deal...was he gay, or just shitty in bed?

  • @dwemmy He was gay. Classic Mormon story, happens all too often. You can easily get Angels in America from Netflicks, but be aware it's on two separate discs, a two-part series. It's not for kids though due to language and thematic content. It's a good made for TV movie.

  • @Trillidotia So, was this guy a Mormon?? Or, was he a "MorMEN"??

  • @Trillidotia It's so sad. Joe is a very hole-y man, who preys hard. He's struggling with his MoreMen beliefs, he's been reading "The Book of MoreMen, and he has also been reading The Hole-Y Bible. He'll find a lot of piece by studying The Book of Johns.

Hopefully, he can cum to no Christ in a hole new way. People shouldn't be so hard-on him.

  • So Mormons have dysfunctional families, too. Can we make a reality show out of this?

  • I didn't know about mormon undergarments. So, I guess it makes it much more significant when this character strips butt naked out of love for a man. Hmm.

  • most mormons don't know where the Endowment Ceremony came from or what inspired it. Joseph Smith advanced to high degree of FreeMasonry just 6 weeks prior to him starting the LDS endowment ceremony. It's all there in LDS church history. I urge all mormons to read their church history and discover the TRUTH about the gospel they are following. I was a mormon for 36 years, I bought into all their lies, all their doctrinal changes, cover-ups, & Joseph Smith's lies. No more for me, thanks.

  • @MrTomtom47 Darn, this account is closed. Congratulations . Most people just wont look deeply. But that's true of all of us, Catholic or whatever. The deep structure of Mormonism and the Hierarchy deserves only rejection. It is deceptive.

  • @MrTomtom47 now I urge you to search the roots of the masonry. They claim to be an ancient organization that came from the times of the Solomon's temple. In fact all the things that are done in some mason temple comes from that, but some details were lost across time. So Joseph Smith restored the ceremony to its original state. That's the truth about this. It's no reason to leave the church. I've read about everything there is to read about the church history and there is NOTHING wrong with it.

  • @Darkfoxpower1 Oh,Yah! the old BS LDS claim that the Masonic Ritual really was the original gospel of Christ as given to Adam in the first place.Too bad for you that your BS LDS claims are obviously BS. The Masonic lodge no longer stands behind the hyped up mythical claim that the Masonic ritual goes back to Solomon's temple. The symbology is patently gnostic & ANTI Christian, but that message never made it through your thick MORmON skull! So much for all your thorough research.

  • google Doe's Account. mindblowing.

  • I feel good by the regular clothes that I wear, our purpose to love and understand our fellow ship with Jesus

  • Galatians 1:8 John 14:6

  • @tnfellow:

    Chaney 5:9

    Degeneres 5:8.....

are you talking about people's height? haha

  • Wow. It's so funny reading about topics that people don't even know about. Bahaha. All you haters on the church. Your pathetic. Get a life and move on. All you members argueing with all these haters. Get a life and move on. God will punish them for thier stupidity and you can be about with your life. There. Problem solved and whoever is calling this religon a CULT. Bahahaha. Your a RETARD. Hahaha. Idiot.

  • Mate you have Violated your covenants - the Garments are sacred and God will not be Mocked !!!!

  • were the hell is kolob in what galaxy does this star exist? is it near were krypton used to be

  • God of Kolob? What is that? God is not of Kolob? Kolob was a star that was nearest to where God lives.. he does not live on it.

    Silly people.

And there are more righteous women than there are men. Women need a man to take good care of the them in the next life... right BeachLady? hehehe

  • I seriously have no idea why on earth you people are so hung up about mormons and what they believe in. Why does it matter to you? (don't answer that)...

  • What matters to us is that this is the cult of Mormonism is fraudulent and it hurts many people and it destroys families. Many of these people are recoverying from the effect of the guilt and years of repression from this fraud. It is bad stuff and it is untrue. Mormons waste more than 10% of their income and most of there free time, their youth, their peace of mind, their families and sometimes their employment only to find out the the truth about Smith has been hidden by cult leaders. FRAUD!!

  • mormonism can only hurt someone if they don't think about what they're doing. no one is forcing them to be members, therefore they are doing it to themselves. And just to let you know, much of the tithing money is spent on things that members use, and it is also used to give aid to those who are in need.

  • Comment removed

  • Wrong again, Swirly. Members that are born into the cult are baptized at 8 years of age. They don't have a choice and are brainwashed with the guilt of not complying with the cult unilateral "covenants". Some are driven to suicide. If they stray for the cult, they are shunned by family, neighbors, lifelong friends and even employers. It is a very bad and evil cult. Members believe that unless they pray, pay and obey they will not be in the "celestial kingdom" and become gods. It is a

  • Okay...yet another laying out of false claims with no proof backing them up. If those who leave the church are shunned, then shame on those who shun them! Speaking personally, I have two children (wife and I raised 5) who have gone totally inactive in the church, but my wife and I certainly do not shun them. They know that they are welcome in our home any time, and that they are just a loved as our other children. They're still FAMILY, and we communicate with them frequently.

  • Jedi: How nice of you not to shun your own children for following their own beliefs and consciences! Many others are shunned by even their own families. Their accounts are posted on exmormondotorg. Members are shunned by the cult. It is called excommunication and disfellowship and it happens for simply writing a documented, historically correct account of Moism. Mormon leaders are bullies and require unquestioning obedience to the cult and to themselves. PAY LAY ALE!

  • Jedi: Brigham Young said that apostates must leave SLC or die: I say, rather than that APOSTATES should flourish here, I WILL UNSHEATH MY BOWIE KNIFE, and CONQUER OR DIE. (Great commotion in the congregation, and..burst of feeling, assenting) Now, you nasty apostates, clear out, or judgment will be put to the line, and righteousness to the plummet. (Voices...'go it') If you say it is right, raise your hands. (All hands up) Let us call upon the Lord to assist us in this. (JoD,Vol. 1, page 83)

  • No one knows where the tithing money goes since as a cult, it is not required to divulge. Other churches do, but not the Mos. It is used to PAY the hierarchy. It is use in businesses. The cult is building an 2 billion dollars mall in Salt Lake City. Very little is used as aid and members are also required to fund different aid funds for buildings, missionaries, fast offerings, and also have to clean their our churches. In England less than 1% of tithing goes to aid. They lie to you Swirly. QUIT!

  • you don't know anything. thats obvious. have u met a mormon???

  • The official LDS Church Handbook of Instruction says:

Living Women — A living woman may be sealed to only one husband. . . .

Living Men — If a husband and wife have been sealed and the wife dies, the man may have another woman sealed to him if she is not already sealed. (Church Handbook of Instruction, p.72)

  • ok. im a mormon, and for 1, we dont believe the garments protect us from harm. there have been many times missionaries have been hurt while wearing them. and seriously. i get taught that poligamy is not anywhere near an option. ok. in the scriptures it says stuff about that stuf, but the point is, WE DONT DO IT ANYMORE. we get taught the complete opposite. we get taught not to take marriage lightly cause we will live with that one person 4ever.

  • I think perhaps what others are objecting to is not whether or not the church today practices polygamy, but for inconsistency.. In 1843, Smith received revelation from God commanding polygamy to be practiced, as much as we cringe at polygamy today because we all realize God intended one man for one woman and visa-versa, if this was what was taught, then why isn't it practiced today? Either JS was right, or else we today are right, there cannot be any gray, middle zone when it comes to morality

  • The reason poligamy was practiced was because there were'nt enough men. Many of the mormon men were being killed by the mobs and the women who'd lost their husband to this needed support of all different kinds. So for a period of time, some men had to support a number of wives and children. When the mobs settled down and mormons were free to LIVE, poligamy was banned. some people didnt want to stop practicing poligamy, and continued to do it. they were immediately excommunicated.

  • Wasn't polygamy legal until the 1890's when Utah wanted to become an official State? The only way Utah could become a state was to make polygamy illegal, but historical documents show us that God commanded us to practice polygamy as revealed to Joseph Smith, and this was practiced by Brigham Young who had up to 40 wives. Either it is a revelation and we should be practicing it today, or it was a mistake in the first place. I mean, it was commanded to Smith, so why not us today?

  • The U.S. census from 1850 to 1940 and all available records of the Utah church show that men outnumbered women in the church and in Utah. (Joseph Smith: The First Mormon, 1977, p360 and Utah Census and Polygamy)

    Here's the facts...

Smith had 34 wives while alive (more sealed after his death)

and Young had up to 55 wives.

    Spiritual polygamy for Heaven?

Mormon men can be sealed to more than one women if the first wives dies. (that now a days too) Nice belief huh?

    Research it.

  • Swirly, you were lied to again by your cult. It is not true that there were more men. Census records show that there were more women in Utah in the 1800's. The truth is: Joseph Smith liked to sleep with many women Bring 'em Young continued the practise. Smith was sleeping with MARRIED women. He would send his buddies on missions and steal their wives. It is in the historical record. You can check the Cult's own geneology web site under Smith's name. Get out while you are still young and live.

  • Swirl: Why are other churches able to take care of their widow without fucking them? The Cult was into having sex with many women. It is still in their canonized scripture in D&C 132. The Cult still believe in polygamy and current cult leaders have bragged about being with two wives in the next life. Dalin Houx is one of them. Research your cult. You will be glad that did. Pay lay ale.

  • You can think what you want, and you can keep doing your research if you want. that won't change what i believe.

  • Comment removed

  • There were more men than women according to the Utah census of the time.

~Oh and "God said stop" that is what is taught about LDS polygamy. BUT they stopped because Utah was not getting ANY government support if they did not stop the polgamouse lifestyle. The US pressure was huge to stop.

    THAT's a fact.

So convenient, same with the blacks and the priesthood ban taken away in 1978.

  • You are so right, my friend :-) Thanks!

  • From the washing & anointing segment of the endowment: "Inasmuch as you do not defile it, but are true and faithful to your covenants, it will be a shield & a protection to you against the power of the destroyer until you have finished your work on the earth."

To many a Mormon mind, this is to be taken literally in that they will be protected from evil, including the odd bullet or two. Mormons like to tell others that they don't take this literally, yet they love the stories which confirm it.

  • That "Desire all to receive it..all rise" is out of some Egyptian Babylonian mystery cult.... Mormons cant complain about exposed Sacred underwear. nothing is hidden that wont be brought to light

  • IExposeMormonism,is this a clip from an actual movie?

    Please respond. =)

  • It is from a movie but I don't recall if it's a TV movie or "big screen"

  • Thankyou,IExposeMomonism,I'll do some research and see if I can find it.

  • nope sorry.....those are not garments....

  • that's right, garments are even uglier

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahhhahhahhahhahhahhaha

    thanx

  • those are not real garments! they don't have a stripe going down the front

  • is that the chick from fried green tomatoes???

  • ive got magic underwear too, but its got a picture of Homer Simpson on it.

Anyone want to see a youtube video of that?

  • It's called Family Home Evening. And, if you knew anything accurate about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, you'd know that.

  • poor thing!!!! did those baddies traumatize u so much??? thanx for this impresive lesson on maturity

  • anyone have a mormon i can buy

  • This is very innacurate!

  • has that ever been relevant????!!! =)

  • Wow MILF Weed Mom is hot!

  • LoL I thought it was funny. Of course it's not real, it's an exaggeration. Like most movies. Oh and I know most Mormons probably haven't seen this rated 'R' movie, but The Terminator isn't real either. I promise.

The unhappy wife in a Mormon marriage, that is real. Utah has the highest usage of depression meds and narcotics in the US. Look it up... All but one of my Mormon sister-in-laws have all been on depression meds.

  • yes I have and why is it unfortunate?

  • I am pretty sure you are one those people who knows NOTHING about Mormons. Real Mormons aren't polygamists.

  • Thief: "Real Mormons aren't polygamists". This is what is known as lying for the Lord and telling half truths. Polygamy is very much part of Mormon Doctrine. Brigham Young: "The only men who become Gods...are those who enter into polygamy. Joseph Smith: D&C 132:61 ...if any man espouse a virgin, and desire to espouse another...he cannot commit adultery for they are given unto him... It is still believed to be essential to Mormons to populate the planets that they get when they become gods.

  • I'm not lying. Sure, the mainstream mormon religion USED to practice polygamy. Then it was banned from the church in 1890 by LDS president Wilford Woodruff. By 1910, any members who continued to practice polygamy were excommunicated. The only ones who continue to practice

polygamy have nothing to do with the Mormon church. They might call themselves mormon but besides that they are completely different. I have never met anyone in the church to have more than one spouse.

  • The point is that it is still Mormon doctrine that you have to have more than on wife to become a god and populate your own planets. Even recent leaders such as Dalin Oakes professes to have two wives, one on Earth and one in heaven. The Mormon canonized scripture states that you can have more than one wife in D&C 132:61-63. Wilford Woodruff was one of the Mormons that continued to practise polygamy after he banned it in order for Utah to gain statehood. The truth is Mormons believe in polygamy.

  • your right about one thing. there is mormon doctrine that says that, and poligamy was practiced for a short period. but i can seriously tell you that mormons dont practice poligamy anymore. neither do they like the idea of it. I am a mormon, and everyone who surrounds me at church have only ever had 1 fater and 1 mother. our leaders also teach us that it is strictly forbidden. U can say watever you've heard or think, but i'll always know that u and all others are wrong

  • Swirly, you don't know much about polygamy and your religion. It was practised into the 20th century by your cult and was the subject ot US Senate investigations. It was practised secretly by the Mormon hierachary, by their own admission, well after W Woodruff issued his Manifesto. Joseph Smith was a scumbag and a philanderer. He was marrying girls as young as yourself, 14. He married 11 children and 11 women married to other men, his friends and buddies. The cult has lied to you and its members

  • I think id know more about my religion than u do. Look. I have to confess that i dont know much about Joseph Smith practicing poligamy, and i do know that he did, but i also know that anyone who is caught still doing it in current times immediately gets excommunicated. I know we might've done it in the past, BUT WE DONT DO IT NOW. i may seem young to you, but i do know THAT. Why doesnt anyone ever notice the GOOD things that mormons do???... there's a lot. y do u dislike mormons anyway?

  • Swirly, you are wrong on so many counts. I am sure that I know more about your cult than you do. I have read extensively about the cult for years. You missed the point on your age. It is not that you are young. The point is Joseph Smith was a pedophile. He was sleeping with teens as early as 1831 when he was bedding Fanny Alger. Oliver Cowdrey called it a dirty little affair. That was years before Smith came up with D&C 132:61-63 where he tries to justify his liasons to his wife Emma.
