Churches are not teaching what is in the Bible. There is a tendency to over spiritualize Christianity to the point that many say that God does not care about government. God said what he thought of government in ! Samuel 8:5 - 19 No one wants to read this because they are too bent on chasing this spiritualized Christianity that I personally believe is not what was intended... I have never seen the Christian flag place in the position of honor, it's always placed to the viewer's right in relation to the American flag. Then tell me it makes no sense, try then to tell me Jesus isn't the greatest character ever written. Then have the courage and faith to live that message, make it real, and see what happens.

P.S. Facts are, people, I'm pretty new to the faith, but the way i see it, the only writings in the world, that if everyone followed we would have a utopian society, is the Bible. And thats it. But only a few can walk the Strait and Narrow...

@oneeyedman21 Try approaching the Bible as an accepted piece of fiction in a literary study as you would any other piece of fiction. Leave the history and Science out of it, it's not about that. Then tell me it makes no sense, try then to tell me Jesus isn't the greatest character ever written. Then imagine those philosophies he taught being real, in that, imagine if people really lived like that, freely. Then have the courage and faith to live that message, make it real, and see what happens.

When I read the Constitution, I get the same goose bumps and feelings inside that I get when I read the Bible. I am not so sure the Constitution was not another divinely inspired document. If you have an open mind and believe, with God all things are possible, then it is "possible" that the Constitution was divinely inspired. However, I am with you on the the first words of God. Thank you for sharing your perspective.

The Elite Powers or so called Illuminati created the Constitution in 1776 just like the Illuminati. People don't think what will happen to them when the breath goes out of their body. They don't think what will happen after they die in this fleshy realm.

@JasionJones Yeah, I doubt it’s just coincidence that the Bavarian illuminati was founded on May 1, 1776, not even a full two months later the Declaration of Independence was drafted by a number of Freemasons. The Freedom that masses fight to protect in the Constitution has all ways been nothing more than illusion. Only now because of economic disparity are people waking up to the truth, this so called Republic is really an esoteric oligarchy!
