I'd love to see a "Let's Play" of Super Mario All-Stars. Preferably with a friend whose willing to join you on taking turns with things to make it easier and less stressful if you run into a hard level. Either Super Mario Bros. 2 or Super Mario Bros. 3; either one without warping. Could bring some amusement! Or a Castlevania game.

@skirm123 I am losing hope in Nintendo. If they ditch motion controllers and go back to a regular controller (which will sadly never happen) then I will buy another Nintendo console. Honestly the only games I play on Wii are Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros, and Resident Evil 4. So basically all their games are old franchises and ports.
It's a fun gadget but not worth it to buy it. Why? Well because you could just get your old SNES and have the same experience. Because of the fact that the controller was given out for free makes it worthwhile, but not for a price.
Another factor is that if your wii breaks you'll lose all your games, and that would not happen with cartridges.
@Daandude1 Maybe if you own a SNES. Also, if your wii ends up breaking, send it in to nintendo for repairs and they'll make sure you get your downloaded games back.
Having it on the wii is just for convenience, but if you already own a snes with lots of games, then I guess this serves no purpose for you.

@xdlugia1 It will only work with games that support use of the directional pad. Since ocarina of time used movement with the joystick, that means that you can't use the SNES controller because it lacks a joystick.
Basically, the directional pad on the SNES controller emulates the n64 dpad control, not the joystick.

actually, it doesnt work better because of the XYBA placement. its horrible for SNES games. you would have to use your middle finger to hold Y to run and index finger to press B to jump if you're playing super mario world.

@Summerslam96 Unfortunately MKW is a no-no. I tried that as soon as I got the controller, but they made it so that instead of controlling steering, the D-pad can only be used to wheelie. They could have easily made the D-pad steer and had select for wheelies, but no. Basically, you can't steer.
As for NSMBW, I imagine it works. Unless you need the remote to perform random motions, there's no reason why it shouldn't function perfectly. In case you care, it doesn't work properly with Brawl either.

I use the Wavebird controller as a classic controller it works better and its wireless but this controller looks pretty cool.

actually, it doesnt work better because of the XYBA placement. its horrible for SNES games. you would have to use your middle finger to hold Y to run and index finger to press B to jump if you're playing super mario world.

wouldnt a classic controller be more economical? and most snes games let u use the dpad anyway, so the stick shouldnt enter in...i just wana know what that weird button thing on the top middle is for. stil havent figured that one out

Why are the X and Y buttons not concave? At 2:10 they seem to stick out like a dome. Is that how the famicom controllers were built? I know Super Nintendo ones aren't like that.

It works but only if the game that supports classic controller doesn't rely on the analog sticks. I know for a facct SSBB doesnt work.

Wow... this controller is just too awesome, screw the price, I am getting one of these! I just have one question... so, is the controller multi-region compatible? It's not region locked, right? I live in the UK, so would this work ok with a PAL wiimote and console? I'm just wondering if theres any chance of these being released on the Europe stars catalogue on club nintendo any time soon. They've released the SMG soundtrack now, so it could be a possibly!

Accessories have no region lock. for further notice, I have an NTSC wii and the controller is japanese. do the math.

Ok, awesome. I've actually already ordered one of these off ebay as we speak, hehe. I couldn't resist. I'm an avid Nintendo fan, and for me this is just the coolest controller you could ever own. ^.^
@ Champion6471: You could say that, but for hardcore fans it's a must-have. And actually they're around $50 each. :P
I already own a CC, but this is way cooler. On another note, ARE they only compatible with SNES games? Didn't hear that mentioned anywhere.

Yeah, I forgot to mention it in my video. It is compatible with all vc games, as well as wii games that utilize the classic controller (smash bros doesn't count).

Ah, thats great. I was also especially hoping I was able to use it for MKW, as thats my favourite and most played game right now... would you happen to know if it's fully compatible with MKW? Assuming you're using a bike, can you execute every technique, such as a wheelie / trick, and if so what button do you use for that? Thanks.

@Summerslam96 Unfortunately MKW is a no-no. I tried that as soon as I got the controller, but they made it so that instead of controlling steering, the D-pad can only be used to wheelie. They could have easily made the D-pad steer and had select for wheelies, but no. Basically, you can't steer.
As for NSMBW, I imagine it works. Unless you need the remote to perform random motions, there's no reason why it shouldn't function perfectly. In case you care, it doesn't work properly with Brawl either.
