They are two different things, as the African Union exists (was formely known as the OAU) and is the regional body regrouping the 52-53 independant member states. In the second of their objectives the AU states that it guaranties the territorial integrety and sovereignity of member states. it can be compared to MERCOSUR in Latin America.
The United States of Africa on the other hand is the idea of a super state whereby the idea of sovereignty of member state would be reduced to resemble the federal US government.
Idd BP. that does sound like a part of the globlization according to the NWO agenda, of which the Millennium goals are a derivative. Yah Bless & Mercy
Actually I was talking about the United States of Africa which is a project that Kadaffi wants to spear head. The idea of this is to merge all 53 states under one governement or have something similar to the European Union. Both ideas are in my opinion detrimental to Africa, I'll explain why in upcoming videos.
My cousin actually came from Paris and have my siblings who are in France, they all tell me the same things. The recent trends that I also see on French and franco-afro channels such as Telesud, show caribbean musicians emulating our music styles. You have movements initiated by Claudy Siar called "Zouke-Decalle" and "Dis l'heure 2Zouk" produced by brazza.Cong. Passy. The Franco-carribeans do dance our dances and they are quite good at it. This contrasts with the UK.
It is true that I only visited France a couple of times and my longest stay was 3 months, but what I have seen and what familly members living there told me goes with what I have said. With the exceptions of people from Martinique, the franco-Afro-caribbean community is inclined to listen to our music and doesn't mind mingling with us.
The countries usually wouldn't like outsiders to get the riches. Even corrupt leaders would like in their inner most to reap their countries wealth, but they like every component of african society are overwhelmed by the status quo.
Maybe BP. The African leaders might swear alegiance to the nation, yet I suspect there are 'hidden loyalties' at stake, that surpass ethicity, recent and national politcal interest, (local)history, culture or religion. Since this is the loyalty of the (ancient) elite. For blood is thicker than water. BP.
Yes indeed, their are such allegiances as well as personal interests that have played a great role in African history. For example some leaders would sacrifice their countrie's future for the sake of maintaning themselves in power.

Great video series, it's a always a great thing to destroy myths and misconceptions.
Europeans have come up with some bad beliefs like the curse of Ham and the weird ideologies some African Americans have are a response to that.
