Scooby, the movement with the EZ-bar is a compound movement called reverse biceps curl. Not an isolation for the forearms. I'm sure you know that but you should've said something about it in this video for the people who don't know.
You can think of your whole torso as a tent, if one side is a lot weaker the whole thing collapses, so your body doesn't (easily) allow you to make one side too much stronger.
In short, if you want a stronger chest, do the reverse motion of a chest exercise (rows or rear flyes for example).

i think you should do more vids on compound lifting. not pull ups and dips. but deadlifting and squating. deadlifting and squating CAN be done at home. i do it myself. no big squat rack, just a basic bench. squats and deadlifts are extremely crucial to bodybuilding and imo, should be covered.
if you are a beginner, you shouldn't be focusing on your forearms at all the first year. they will get stronger through holding the weights while exercising bigger muscles, such as the pectorals or lats.
If id do 2 exercises for an example: chest for 15minutes and make 5 minutes rest. After this you said you can search for 2 other excersice for 15 minutes.
My first question: should i do chest again(other exercise) for 15 minutes or other muscle groups???example 2 exercise back?
My second question:Can i do this kind of training every second week..?
So: first week normal train , second week zero rest technique,normal,zero rest.... so on

When I first started working out I asked a professor at my school about muscle soreness. Turns out that soreness comes from hundreds of tiny tears in the muscle and the actual soreness is the muscle getting aggrivated by these tears. I was told to take some time off and let my body heal itself. It was good advice.
Well you're right about the tearing, that's a big part of how muscle grows. However, in all my research into working out I have never about eating having to do with it. Glucosamine is important in reducing muscle soreness and healing the muscle; I assume that's what you mean?

Hi Scooby. I rock climb as well as lift, and would recommend the following forearm exercises. No heavy weights or expensive equipment needed.
-Hanging from a bar until your hands give out
-Rope climbing without legs
-Hang a kilo or two from a cord. Attach to the centre of a rod. Hold the rod at arms length and roll, reeling the weight up slowly. Then lower the weight back to the floor. Palms up and down are both good. Only a kilo, but the forearms start to burn.

I have heard that Flutter Kicks are better than crunches, especially if you throw in some bicycles to get the obliques.
Hey Kirby, no substitute for crunches. Flutter kicks are really hard on the lower back too. Bicycles are much easier on the lower back than flutter kicks and much more effective too. Do the crunches and add bicycles if you want but dont skip the crunches
Hi scooby, i just injured my elbow doing the rope triceps exercise and got a severe tendonitis... sucks!! My mystake was doing the negative exercise and at the last point smashing the weights. Making tension from doing the correct movement adding the smashing... the vibration went straight to the tendon. In the 10 years i ve been working out ive never had this injure. it is really bad. Any tips for fast healing ??

I agree with this guy. You train your forearms with nearly every exercise. I still train them 3 times a week together with my other routines.

Well you're right about the tearing, that's a big part of how muscle grows. However, in all my research into working out I have never about eating having to do with it. Glucosamine is important in reducing muscle soreness and healing the muscle; I assume that's what you mean?

Hi Scooby. I rock climb as well as lift, and would recommend the following forearm exercises. No heavy weights or expensive equipment needed.
-Hanging from a bar until your hands give out
-Rope climbing without legs
-Hang a kilo or two from a cord. Attach to the centre of a rod. Hold the rod at arms length and roll, reeling the weight up slowly. Then lower the weight back to the floor. Palms up and down are both good. Only a kilo, but the forearms start to burn.

Hello, I was watching your "resolution: weight loss" video and I wanted to know what your opinion on substituting flutter kicks for the crunches would be.
I have heard that Flutter Kicks are better than crunches, especially if you throw in some bicycles to get the obliques.
Any input?

Hey Kirby, no substitute for crunches. Flutter kicks are really hard on the lower back too. Bicycles are much easier on the lower back than flutter kicks and much more effective too. Do the crunches and add bicycles if you want but dont skip the crunches

Hi scooby, i just injured my elbow doing the rope triceps exercise and got a severe tendonitis... sucks!! My mystake was doing the negative exercise and at the last point smashing the weights. Making tension from doing the correct movement adding the smashing... the vibration went straight to the tendon. In the 10 years i ve been working out ive never had this injure. it is really bad. Any tips for fast healing ??

Hey Scooby just like to thank you for your videos. I have found them to be a big help in the gym. Gives me a better sense of what I should and shouldn't be doing. My question for you is should shoulder stabilizing exercises be done before or after a shoulder/trap workout, or should they not be done on a shoulder/trap workout day at all?
