  • Great video. What if I have a range from L3 to L26 has sum and the total amount should be on L28. IF L3 to L10 have an amount but L11 to L26 says "N/A" How do I get it to add up the numbers and ignore the N/A to get the total amount in L28. Thanks. Because right now L28 is not adding up the total amount if there are N/A the L cells.

  • Jako dobro, kratko i korisno. Bravo!!!

  • Thanks for sharing on how to use count if in excel. I cannot get it to count the following properties with ocean view. If I put count if a2a12,Ocean it only yields one? and work around? OCEAN

    Ocean View,Water View

    Marina View,Ocean View,Panoramic View,Water View

    Canyon View,Hills View

    Coastline View,Hills View,Ocean View,Panoramic View,View,Water View,White Water View

    Catalina Island View,Ocean View,Water View,White Water View

    Coastline View,Ocean View,Water View

  • @LoniHart Hi Loni. As long as there is only one instance of "ocean" in each cell, as in your example, the following should work for you. Include "*" before and after the word you are looking for like this: =COUNTIF(A2:A12,"*ocean*").

    Ray

  • I want my "SUMIF" formula to calculate a total from two columns eg. column B2:B70 and C2:C70 I tried the following =SUMIF(A2:A70,"Alex",B2:C70) but this only gives me the total of the first column B2:B70 and ignores C2:C70 ... Please Help =(

  • Hello, for some reason your question was marked as spam, so I didn't see it until now.

For what you are trying to do, you should use the following:

    =SUMPRODUCT((A2:A70="Alex")*B2:C70)

Make sure that there are no text items in your sum range and this should work. Ray

  • Thanks Alot
