Hi! sorry for my late reply!! i have had to go away with this college camp thing ... :P

To urn the iPod shuffle on there should be a button on top that you can flick and it will turn on, then all you have to do is press play! :)

How are you connecting it to your computer? maybe you can try anther USB port ? :)

I think ill stay with my 2008 Ipod Classic....

I see the pro's of this little gadget but the fact it doesn't contain a screen and the navigation (well.... just skipping through songs) is a little annoying.. Good price for the amount of space you get on it though..

I see it as apple just trying to fill a tiny gap in the portable media player market... cheap and easy sort of market..

There are some better players out there though..

The iPod Shuffle dose not have touch button's like the click wheel on the classic or nano.

The Button's on the shuffle are completely push activated.

i have a problem. My ipod shuffle contains about 267.9 mb of other data so i can put only about 600mb of audio in there. when i open the content i cannot see anything else but the audio and i can't delete the other data. how can i delete it? please answer it would help alot.

Big I agree. I was LOLing when he said the earbuds had deep bass and very good highs.

And those are the older bad sounding sets there mate.

The one in the grey box(not green text)has the new ones that are WAY better!

But really want deep bass? Try Skullcandy or Coby earbuds,or Panasonic.

well its a kool format btw, one more thing, apple earphones are crap, i loved them before , honestly ,i had 3 ipods and all the apple earphones were lettin me down. now im using sony in ear headphones from sony ericson phone,, theyre awesome ,especially the bass and isolating :D

I have a few friend's with iPod shuffle's and there dock's have not been broken or damaged.

And including mine, which is in spic span order.

If the dock is worrying you, it will be fine, i have not seen one break, but if worst comes to worst, you could alway's get another of eBay for a few buck's.

Hi! the best place to get skins for you ipod shuffle would be ebay, or you could pop into your local apple store, and pick a few up for a relatively cheap price.

Many other stores carry them also, check your local specialty electronic store in your location.

I have the Creative ZEN Stone it is the same thing as the iPod Shuffle, only it is shinier, and it is half the price of the iPod Shuffle.

Oh I saw that in Best Buy. It may be shinier, and cheaper. But I'm still with the iPod Shuffle because you can get a warranty if you buy it from the Apple store and it's much more stable :) Plus, I don't think the stone has a clip.
