What a terrific version of my favorite John Prine song! Who needs fingerpicking when flatpicking can sound so good? Five stars, favorited, subscribed, etc, etc!!!!!
Just noticed that I messed up the lyrics at the end. For the last verse I said, "if you CATCH some hollow ancient eyes", instead of "SPOT". Oh well. At least it's the same idea. ;-)
It's just a part of what makes this "your" version of the song- and besides, I think "catch" may actually be a better word than merely "spot" in that final verse.
